Getting ready to open a bottle of wine, fix up some cheese and crackers and share with Mr Flame while watching a movie....our version of a date.  :-)

I got a couple steaks and stuffed baked potatoes from Omaha Steaks.  I'm going to need to go to the store before Happy Hour begins.

Sounds like a nice date to me!

What kind of wine are you drinking tonight?

Is it red wine?  Save a little for butter and mayo.  Whip some butter, toss in some roasted garlic and a little red wine... its great on roast beef sandwiches.  Same for mayo.

Loving the fact that the low tonight is only 40 and I can leave the windows open and air this place out.  :p ("this morning, I shot six holes in my freezer, I think I got cabin fever, somebody sound the alarm")

Thinking about a beer run. (I have to make a cigarette run and may as well get beer and gas up the car)

Lazy lame Satarday night I guess.

I don't really want to cook tonight so I'm considering fast food.

My nearby options are Taco Bell, Arby's, McDonald's, and Jack in the Box.

I could also go to the grocery store that's a block from my home but I would have to get out of my car and walk around.

Yes, it has really been that lazy of a Saturday.

Pinot grigio is the only white wine that I can stand. Other varieties give me a headache every time.

I'm definitely a red wine girl.

Fill an ice cube tray with red wine and leave it in the freezer for later.  Drink the rest. :couch:

Ice cube trays come in handy... I have one filled with adobo sauce and chipotle-smoked jalapeno peppers.

Does anyone else get really paranoid when you see all of the mods in their super secret hiding place "Nothing, or nothing you can see"?

It bugs. LOL.

Talking about mac 'n' cheese has gotten my mouth watering for some. There is a Boston Market a few miles away. Perhaps I should go there. They have cornbread too!

I like Kraft Shells 'n Cheese... its about the only mac 'n cheese I bother with.  I haven't had Boston Market in a long time.  I vaugely remember some complaints about them when they were popular.

Maybe I should just run down to the grocery store and pick up a box of mac 'n' cheese.

Why is this so difficult?

Need to know information lady.  Step back and away from the cornbread.

Personally me I'd go with jack in the box as I have been craving it for 9 years and the closest one is 6 hours away

Aw, that stinks. I could mail you a Breakfast Jack. You would have to reheat it though.

Alright, my mouth is really watering now for mac 'n' cheese. I think I'm going to the Boston Market.

If I come back to find that this thread has died, you will all experience a virtual pain like you've never experienced before.

No, really. I mean it.

Stop laughing.

No. I can't stand the taste of Pepto-Bismal so much that I have to buy those caplets. I'm a wimp.

I just bought the Benny Hill seasons 5 and 6 (the Hills Angels years), and a collection of 50 really bad sci-fi films. I had to turn off the Werewolf Woman (a bad Italian film). The wolf is a furry set of tights with a uni-brow on her face. Apparently the producers ran out of money and that was all the makeup they could afford. whats worse is her hair is blond and the fur suit is brown....Oh the jokes that summons...

MST3K has ruined me! I love old bad stinky films. But they're more fun when you have goofy people to laugh and make fun.
and beer. Everything is better with beer.  :cheersmate:

A risk of sharing a tale too often told...

My old college roomates and I used to have "bad beer/bad movie night" in which a few times a month (or week if dating was slow) we would buy a ton of cheap beer (think beast ice bad) and a couple bad movies. The (flexable) rule was whatever movie we got, no one could have ever heard of any of the lead actors. It did become MST3K like but I give up all the props to those "pro's".

For MST3K fans...
