They are threatening to (and partially succeeding, actually) take the entire country into the little greedy, fearful, miserable, self-loathing hole in which they and only they appear to thrive.

7. It's been done. The War to End All Wars.

It worked about as well as the Wars on Drugs, Terror, Poverty.

But the OP was about a War on Republicans. Too late, the Republicans are waging a War on Democrats. 41 Senators are standing at the Gates of Thermopolae, holding off 59 Democrats with the threat of filibuster. And we're as puzzled as the Persians.

The republic party needs to be declared a continuing criminal enterprise, as well as enemies of the state, and they should be shut down and banned from government service....

I guess after so long coming unarmed to battles of wits and disliking the inevitable results, they think that changing the type of battle they come unarmed to will change the outcome.

I'd pack a lunch gents.  Scraping DUmbass off yer boots is an all day affair.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

We're irrelevant, right?

Isn't that what the primitives have been saying for three months now, since after the elections, that we're irrelevant?

If we're irrelevant, isn't this like the United States declaring war on ancient Rome?

The DUmmies somehow seem to that that because their guy got elected...it's a mandate to send everyone who isn't like them to modern day ovens and gas chambers.

Well, if that's what the primitives think, the primitives must be pretty stupid.

franksolich plans on being around a long time, watching the primitives.

franksolich's motto: "The same yesterday, today, tomorrow, always the same."

Shove that up your asses and smoke it, primitives.

You're right: We're irrelevant. So what's the fuss about?

What's at play, IMO, is serious fear, pathological hatred and serious pyschoses.

Yep, Obamabots all the way, eh?

It's times like this that the false exterior shine falls off the pile of dung that IS the Democrat Party and we see them for what they really are.

But you, me, scads of others have seen this is what the Democrats are.

Why didn't more Americans in the last election cycle or two? The advocacy/adversary media? Gnat-like memories or none at all? Stupidity? Ignorance? Complacency? Intention?

What the Democrats, liberals and leftists are doing is as predictable as the sun rising in the east tomorrow morn.

Yet, how many millions voted for Obama and his fellow swill?

To a large part the reason we have who we do in the WH right now is a self inflicted wound by Republicans.

The combination of a RINO Candidate and a large dose of what I call the 100%'ers.

Think JCC on steroids.

The ones who...as the only "true conservatives"...decided to tech the rest of us a lesson by sitting home on election day.

Add a healthy dose of 5th column action by the MSM...the fear of being labelled a racist if you questioned the Democrat candidate about known associates and such...and you've got the situation we're in now.

Yes, the Fifth Column, the RINO, the spineless Republicans, the spiteful and stupid "true conservatives"--yes, all them.

But, again, that still does not account for how many people installed this empty suit in the White House.

It means that the dupes got duped again and voted destructively.

They got duped because all they heard was sunshine and light about their candidate.  Nothing was made of his lack of experience..et al

You have to remember...by and large the population of America doesn't follow politics like we do.

Bring it on, idiot!

What happened with it's "patriotic" to call out the admin?

I see, as long as it's an asshat liberal, it's patriotic, but if someone refuses to agree with you, it's what, "treason"?

You POS! Go ahead, call us out! I would like nothing better than to meet you face to face, tear off both your arms, rip off that 12 lbs of fat you call a head and shit down the hole left behind!

Sorry for the graphic nature folks, but these keyboard warriors just make me furious! If they had half an ounce of courage, they wouldn't hide behind their keyboards and would confront us face to face!

O and his minions were holding the door to the candy store open and a certain portion of the electorate who had grown weary from the constant drumbeat of criticism of President Bush once again thought that it could be so and voted for an escape.

Just as what happened in 1976 and in 1992.
Both soon resulted in a resurgent conservative groundswell as reality sunk in.

I hope you're right carl.  But I see this go round as a more organized and better assembled assault on this country by the left this time.

They've learned from the mistakes of the last two times you mentioned.  That explains the closed mouths of the press over the candidates association and friendship with a known domestic terrorist and his other well documented faults.

Not to mention the obscene and blatantly false attacks against Sarah Palin that began 20 minutes after she was named as the candidate.

The hill we have to climb this time will be much steeper.

That is the sad truth as they know the window to do this is very small as the 2010 election cycle may turn against them.
Hopefully some of the onslaught can be held off but as the reporting for the pork bill goes right now I don`t know.

Liberals are cowards at heart.  The only reason they have corrupted our country as far as they have is because of lack of resistance.  REAL RESISTANCE.

When the shit hits the fan the people that will go to their maker will be leftists.

Not only do we have the means we have the training.

But, what we have now that we didn't have in '76 or '92 is the 24-hour news cycle, or the Internet.  Information is far more easily disseminated.  We went radically to the Left this time--expect the lurch to the Right to be further and far more pronounced.  One follows the other.  The pork bill, though supposedly down to "only" $780 billion, still pisses off a majority of Americans.  They will remember when the economy continues to drop like a brick throughout '09, and they'll ask, "Wasn't the stimulus supposed to reverse that?"  Then they'll find out the truth.

Actually it's called the Battle of Thermopylae, but we'll let it pass.

And the bozo bus primitive would do well to recall that while the Greeks lost that battle, they delivered heavy loses to the Persians, and allowed time for the Greeks to regroup so that a year later the Persians were stopped at the Battle of Plataea.

But the primitives are not one's who know of past history in order to learn from those events.  To the primitives, the history of the world started in 1930's Germany.

Yes, they're cowards.

But, if if they didn't have real resistance, enough of the electorate keeps voting for them. Can't believe that all those who voted are the dyed-in-the-wool liberals and leftists who helped install, for instance, the empty suit from Chicago.

So maybe liberals and those who vote for them as well as just your run-of-the-mill Democrat are, well, missing some mental and intellectual, as well as common sense, parts?
