WASHINGTON (AP) -...

As the country struggles with the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, Obama said there has been no shortage of advice on how to solve the nation's woes.

"You've got some economists and some folks who think they're economists. By the way, these days everybody thinks they're economists," he joked.

What Obama knows about the economy wouldn't fill a thimble.

You spend more every year than you make for 50 years and it gets you in trouble. Doesn't take an economist to figure that one out.

What Obama knows about the economy wouldn't fill a thimble.

Any politician who cannot, off the cuff, describe the difference between "supply and demand" and "quantity supplied and quantity demanded" should not be allowed to vote on any bill dealing with money.

In fact any person who cannot describe the same doesn't know enough about economics to discuss it.

There's much truth there.
