Al Franken thinks he should be seated immediately as a senator from Minnesota, even though the recount trial continues to drag on.Franken's attorneys went before the Minnesota Supreme Court today, Claiming the state is violating federal law by not seating Franken. The recount in the race for Senate showed Franken with a 250-vote lead over Norm Coleman. Franken's attorney told the justices Thursday his client has been certified with the most votes and should be a sitting senator. The justices took the matter under consideration.
Nice try, Al, but I don't think so.
