That dog is incredible. This shows that dogs (and other animals) have compassion and can show loyalty and love and can be altruistic. My son had a teacher who told him years ago that all animals acted only on instincts, that they weren't capable of actions that this video portrayed.

I told him that teacher was an imbecile and still keep showing him books and evidence of animals capable of showing feelings usually attributed to humans.
