Title: Glorious Thursday!
Post by: asdf2231 on February 05, 2009, 10:07:02 AM
I am on the road this afternoon for Illinois for three glorious kid-free big damn manchild fun at Little Wars '09 Gaming Con.

A whole weekend of wallowing around the hotel and gaming and buying stuff. The hotel is a suite style place with full kitchens so it's like being at home kinda.

30 degrees today going into the 40's tomorrow and the high 30's on Saturday.  :yahoo:

Running two events on Friday and Saturday nights, four hours each with an hour of setup and tear down on either side.

I'm looking forward to hitting the pool for a long time too.

I'm patch free today, and feeling much better.

No class today so I'm already at work.  I have all of yesterday's stuff to do to, so I'll be pretty busy I think today.

A Gaming Con, sounds like a weekend full of nerdy fun.  :)

Cold here today, a bit nicer tomorrow, but supposed to be GORGEOUS on Saturday.  Planning on taking the boys over to the ball field to start getting their arms in shape for baseball on Saturday.

No special plans today, as usual!

Sunny but cold here today...again.  I'm done with classes for the day and NO WORK!  I have bills to take care of later (damn you, BoA :hammer: ), but for now, I'm going to relax and eat my lunch (meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies...and a roll.  YUM).

Cold and sunny today with highs in the 50's predicted for Friday and Saturday, before cooling off with rain next week.  It sucks to work on weekends when the weather is nice.

Meh...........the wife is out of town so I have to shuttle the kidlet plus two of her friends after I get off work. I prob wont get home till after 5 and then at 7:15 turn around and pick up the kid at her ballet class (1/2 hr round trip). So, in a sense, I wont be done till 8:00 tonight.

My wife has a pair of Spongebob pajama pants.

I always wanna jump her when she wears them.

Doesn't make me a perv, right? :-)

Of course not.  Now you just need to get her to wear an eye patch.   :-)

I have half a pound of country ham left over from my soup.  I'm thinking of making a quiche, but I'm all out of eggs.

It might be hard to make without eggs.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just simmer it in some water until its done and serve it with a baked potato.

It's a workday.  I'm easy to please.

Maybe I should invest in some powdered eggs?  Never had them before.  I keep a box of powdered milk in the cupboard in case anything needs milk.  I don't drink it, but its preferable to throwing out a quart of milk thats gone bad in the refrigerator because I never use it.  The powdered milk works great for pancakes and waffles.

That is a good idea, or a carton of egg beaters...I think they stay good for like six months.

I've had a carton of those in my refrigerator for longer than six months.  I'm not willing to find out the hard way if they're still good.  :-)
