Sweet damn all going on today.
Below zero with the wind chills. Me and the puppy are just hanging out today.
Played a video game for a bit and am reheating some pizza leftovers for lunch before the housework begins. And reading comic books later.
My life sucks. :-)
Easy day for the kids and the wife unit today as well. Chicken for dinner.

YAY!
The puppy just let me know in no uncertain terms that she needed walkies!
That's the first time she has done that. We have been taking her out very frequently but this is the first time she stood near the doorway and cried to go out!
-
I'm taking a break from my "real" job...Powerpoint Engineer.
Advanced Briefing Construction Consultant.
-
House showings were cancelled due to icy roads....mainly my driveway and street. M been out, but he has a Jeep Grand Cherokee that has a 1st and 2nd gear. My Murano only has one....I don't want to risk it.
We are supposed to get snow later this afternoon and all night and may be some tomorrow. Who knows....just know that the temps are to get down into the teens and the wind is to pick up. Right now the sun is melting some.
The deer have been frolicking in the back yard. We haven't had snow stay on the ground like this for several years....new experience for some of them.
All the schools in the area are cancelled, many businesses are closed...y'all up north would be wondering what the heck is going on? :whatever:

It's beautiful again today.
I'm leaving work at 3:30 to meet up with a group from school to work on a project. w00t leaving work early!
-
Savannah's weather can't make up its mind, as usual. Right now, it's sunny with spring-like temperatures (but without the allergies, thank goodness.)
I don't have to go to work tonight, and since I'm done with class and have changed the sheets on my bed.... NAP time. :p
-
Cold, cold, cold outside, but I have to go to the bank and the auto parts store. I haven't looked outside yet... I hope there's no snow on the ground.
-
Cold again today...blech.
Took my daughter to the Dr this morning....thought she might have strep (sore throat since Thursday, and icky white ickies on her tonsils, plue her mouth is very irritated...swollen gums, blisters, etc). No strep, just a virus. Gave her script for a mouthwash thing...damn stuff should be made of gold for what it cost me. Took her back to school, as she had a lab in Biology she didn't want to miss.
Resisting the urge to take a nap right now.
Wondering what to have for dinner.

People are A-Holes.
I have ALMOST gotten used to the lackwit genetic wastes who can't fit the car between the confusing lines and park taking up a space and a quarter. I figure there is a special place in hell for that brand of douchbearded individual so there but for the grace, etc, etc...
I have learned to live with the retards that can't seem to grasp the notion that you pull FORWARD and then pull in neatly at the curb to pick the kids up after school. I figure eventually they may get it right even though they keep doing it wrong EVERY FREAKING DAY.
But I came close to going postal in the grocery store today when not one but about SIX freaking people couldn't seem to grasp the simple damn courtesy of pulling to one side of the aisle or another so that other people could get through.
One of these pinheads actually had his cart turned sideways so it blocked the entire aisle while he stood there trying to decide which packet of gravy he needed to buy.
It should be legal to throw a metal can of not greater than "Family Size" at their stupid, moonfaced, cud chewing, thick heads to get the message across.

S*H*I*T* So happy it's Tuesday (also works for Thursday)
-
Blah....blah....................another damn Monday cleverly disguised as Tuesday :thatsright:
-
Pork & Dumplins for eats tonight! Yuuuuuuum!
-
I picked up some mesquite-marinated pork loin and baked potatoes.
-
Homemade broccoli cheese soup....
-
Home-made vegetable beef soup. :yum:
-
Homemade broccoli cheese soup....
How much broccoli do you put in? I've worked in restaurants that served a similar soup, and the "broccoli" looks like it got sent through a blender first. Always a disappointment.
-
Pork chops and butterbeans........................go figure
-
I had bought 2 three pound bags of fresh broccoli florets at Sam's for Christmas eve dinner and ended up only using about 2/3 of one.
I used all the rest for the soup.
I froze a bunch of it ....and just thawed one for tonight.
I did use a hand blender on it though....
-
Pork chops and butterbeans........................go figure
My mom always under-cooked them. I never had good butterbeans until I moved to North Carolina.

Reheating Pizza? Not in the microwave I hope!!!!
-
I was condemned to reheating my Sunday pizza at work on Monday. It came out okay, as long as you limit it to less than a minute.

Sounds like "Dinner", Deb....... :fuelfire:

asdf;
You'd hate me. I often take up two spots because the handicapped spots always seem to be taken. If I park in a normal; spot, inevitably, some idot decides they need to park so close that I need a pry bar just to get the door open. I say, "screw 'em". Of course, if they made the parking spots big enough to accommodate a REAL vehicle, life would be much simpler
