WASHINGTON -- The Senate has voted 75-21 to confirm Eric Holder as the first African-American attorney general.
Holder also is the only African-American currently in President Barack Obama's Cabinet. He had strong bipartisan support in Monday's vote.

Senate Roll Call (http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00032)
Well, both my Senators did their damnedest to keep this Marxist foot-soldier from occupying the Attorney General's office. Can't ask for more, I guess.

two questions:
How can it be called bipartisan when over half of one party voted no?
Why didn't the R's filibuster this? They have the votes. And it would be fair to do so after the last eight years.
-
And the terrorists cheered.
Maybe that's Obama's plan on defeating terrorists: With his HUTA decisions about Gitmo, interrogation techniques and cozying up to Iran and Syria, to name the most recent, the terrorists will be so preoccupied with their continuous ROTFLMAO parties, they'll laugh themselves to death.
And Obama's problem will be solved.
-
75-21? Which means at least half the Senate Republicans voted for this guy.

Because, they are so friggin stupid they think if they approve of all of Obama's appointees now, the next time a republican is in the White House, his/her appointees will be treated better. AA defines insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result, i.e., the republicans in congress are CRAZY

McConnell did tell the other Republican Senators before the inauguration that Obama ws going to get pretty much everything he wanted...that they weren't going to put up a big fight.

That's just great. When the country goes to hell in a handbasket, the Dems can say that Republicans agreed with most policies. :banghead:
