US President Barack Obama's offer to talk to Iran shows that America's policy of "domination" has failed, the government spokesman said on Saturday.
"This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.
"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.

Didn't see this on the forum, hope it's not a dupe.

welcome to the big league, Mr. President.
yes, there are people out there that want to hurt us, and no amount of :kumbaya: will fix that
-
Gee look, Barry's policy of surrender is rolling along quite nicely. :mental: :loser:

Holy shit. I guess it's true what they say--look long enough and hard enough, and you can find some common ground somewhere with ANYBODY. I just never thought it would be Amena-whackjob.
NOW are you beginning to get the picture, Zerobama? They don't like us. They want to KILL us. Not even a free pony will change that.

We all knew that Barack "I'm imitating Neville Chamberlain" Obama had no clue about what he was talking with respect to Iran and other terrorist-creating nations and, at best, was a mouthpiece for his puppeteers and others in the leftist/liberal camp.
But he's also apparently surrounded by, advised by and coddled by an ace advisory team, including current Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, that lacks the intelligence and knowledge of history to have understood anything about either Islam or Iran.
Now into his third week of office, Obama is far along into his morphing into Jimmy Carter II.
Way to go, Barry.

Do ya think if Barry sends I'm-a-nutjob a free pony, will the Persian mongrel slink back into his den?

Short people (Kim & I'ma-nut-job) get no respect....except when there's a wimp in the Whitehouse.

Anyone who's spent any time dealing with the Muslim mentality knows that they view "negotiation" as a sign of weakness. They respect and listen to strength. That's how you earn respect in their culture.
Talking to them...wanting to sit down and "discuss" things shows weakness and cowardice in their eyes.

I think The Exalted One understands this intellectually. And may even agree with it. But I don't believe he understands this on a visceral level. He has neither the background nor the skills to effectively wage a diplomatic war.
His campaign promises rear up and bite him in the ass. And he's completely out of his league.
When I'm-a-nutjob winds up looking like more of a statesman than the U.S. President, we have sunk to depths not seen since Jimmah Carter's days.

If he understands it intellectually, then he really is perversely dangerous in what he's done and is doing.
That means he really is intentionally undermining America's status. And that is not protecting and defending America and her Constitution.
Were he simply clueless, then there is some excusability in his behavior, though only little, given that he's supposed to have advisers.

I think the word and concept of denial is at play here, along with rationalization and stubbornness in adhering to some sort of warped Western way of thinking. "Fair play" and all that crap.
In other words, he has all manner of people telling him all kinds of things. I can't help but believe he's getting good analysis from SOMEBODY who has a freakin' clue.
He chooses the path he follows because of the self-indoctrination he's put himself through, probably also with a healthy dose of medicine that he's been spoon-fed along the way - you know, like from William Ayers and Rashid Khalidi.
Let's not forget that the socialist liberal agenda contains lots of "feel-good" and "we owe it to our children to rise above the fray" nonsense.
For The Zero, strength is attained through dialog. Not firepower.
This attitude persists, despite what he's being told.

Clearly, there's some element of denial. And his imagination that he has some "mandate" to do what he's doing.
And,yes, his Marxist, anti-American, whatever indoctrination.
And his belief that with his mellifluous voice and hypnotic spells, and desire to have everyone like him, he can b***s*** himself out of anything.
And, I grant you, perhaps somewhere, someone around him must be pulling out his/her hair, watching this happen because that person has clue or at least more than Obama and every other adviser and soothsayer around Obama.
But, please, somewhere, someone on his staff or amongst his puppeteers needs to have an intense up-close-and-personal conversation with him, regarding the utter folly and danger of what hie's doing.
And that person or persons had better be the ones about which he knows he cannot cross, because they helped install him.
Ones who understand that "fair play" has no meaning to the Islamofascists or other terrorists.
Ones who understand how very gravely Obama is moving to endanger the security of America.
They all may hate America. But it's no good to them if its in shambles because Obama's megalomania invited attacks, perhaps with non-conventional weapons such as CBW and/or nuclear devices.
Or maybe that's what they seek.
-
^I shudder at the thought and pray it's NOT what they seek.

Nothing says "You win" to a radical Muslim like offering to negotiate with them.
