Pizzeria Owner Accused Of Beating Man Over Calzone
PALM COAST, Fla., Jan. 28, 2009
AP) Flagler County authorities said a restaurant owner pistol-whipped and beat a customer who complained that his takeout order was incorrect. The owner of Goomba's Pizzeria was charged with aggravated assault and battery with a deadly weapon and released on bail.
According to a police report, security footage from the pizzeria shows that the owner struck the customer with a gun. He then jumped over a counter and started to assault the customer and his roommate.
The customer was at the pizzeria to collect a refund for a calzone, which he said was prepared incorrectly. He was taken to a hospital after the incident with a bloodied head.

:o :mental:
-
bloodied head or was it just extra sauce on the side?

The shop owner was heard to say, "pasta la vista, baby". :-)

Moral of the story: Never go to a restaurant named Goomba's.

What the hell was he thinking?!?!?! Honestly who is stupid enough to complain about an Italian's cooking. That would even get you killed by my 90 year old grandma in law. The place isn't called Owned By A Big Wussy Pizza, it is freaking Goomba's pizza. Idiots. :thatsright:

Leave the gun, take the calzone.

Never take a calzone to a gunfight. [/Freedumb mode] :uhsure: :-)

If you have never had a calzone then you just don't understand just how enticing they can be. I am laughing - Me and the hubs shared a very good calzone this evening.
-
If the customer ate more than a few bites out of the calzone or ate most of it, he deserved a good ass whipping; not with a gun though.
-
probably brought back the crumbs and demanded a refund
