The NY Daily News is trying to chimpinate Obama

It looks like President Obama hasn't gotten acquainted to his White House surroundings. On the way back to the Oval Office Tuesday, the President approached a paned window, instead of the actual door -- located a few feet to his right.

Doors didn't open automatically for Obamaâ€™s predecessor either. While making a hasty exit from a 2005 press conference in Beijing, former President George W. Bush tugged on the handles of a door, only to find it locked.

Bush laughed off the blunder, but the pictures still live on as part of Bush's lame duck legacy. However, there was little note taken of Obama's rookie mistake.

Obama, who was returning from meeting with Congressional leaders, may have been distracted by Republicans' icy reception to his $825 billion stimulus package, which is poised to pass on Wednesday even without a groundswell of Republican support.

Now, what makes the NY Daily News look like biased hacks is the fact that one was a private gaffe while the other was a very public gaffe. Do they honestly expect people to pay the same amount of attention to the private one that they pay to the public one? This is extremely ticky tack on their part.

So, truly, now any mistake that the Obama makes can be attributed to "icy" Republicans -- hey, wasn't there snow and ice in D.C. when this happened? -- and President George W. Bush.

Yes, our nation needs prayer and we do need to pray for its leaders, whether we voted for them or not.

But with drivel such as this from a DU poster, I'm beginning to believe we need, very soon, a national exorcism of the demons of stupidity and irresponsibility and childishness.
