I open my mailbox today and pull out a handfull of stuff and what do you think greets me from the cover of Entertainment Weekly?

It's bad enough I have had to wade through their moonbattery the last eight years just to keep up with whats in the theaters and coming out on DVD but now I have to put up with at least four years of them fellating JugEars every chance they get.

Well, I hate to say this, asdf, but you're looking at the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Who's their target audience?
And, their editors are clearly riding the JugEar Wave.
On the other hand, His Holiness has been rather entertaining this week, dontcha think? :-)

yeah it has, lol.
I just am sick to death of the jackass movie reviewers not being able to get through three paragraphs on a kids movie without condemning Iraq, Bush, or the "radical" right.
It sucks that Premiere folded because they kept the politics to a dull roar.

I am so glad I chose not to renew my EW subscription. Also, have any of you seen the cover of this week's People magazine (I saw it at work)... it's even WORSE than the EW one. :puke:

Been in a grocery store, or convenience store, or Wal-Mart, or drugstore lately? Seen the news racks or the setups at the checkout lanes/counters?
Half or more of what is see is that Obama mug smiling back at me.
But I did see in the tabloid Globe today an interesting front-page hede: Something to the effect: "The 8 Secrets that Obama Must Hide."
It has things discussed here and elsewhere re: nationality, trip to Indonesia, collegiate career, etc.
But, I'm with you re: want to throw-up.

I was offered free subscription to EW at Best Buy once, I hated it and it went into the trash every time I got it. When they tried to get me to renew it I refused.

 I've almost considered ditching my EW subscription but hubby renews all of my magazines when they send us the renewal postcards. I guess I should be thankful that he's trained thoughtful enough to do that but I'm with you - if it weren't for the fact that I'm a movie/TV/DVD junkie, I'd use it to line the litterbox. I'm VERY tempted to do that anyway considering the rampant O love.

Ugh. I have a subscription to that mag, although I tried to cancel it a couple of months ago. I'm still getting it. I'll have to try again.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I am not terribly surprised, but I am disappointed. I am going to gather the family around to watch me toss it into the fireplace.

One of the blurb-zines had an article on Obama's marriage falling apart. That didn't take long!! :lmao:
