I've been following DU awhile, great site you have!
Here's a real winner. His name is BanTheGOP and even has his own blog on the site. He's a donor so he gets money SOMEWHERE.

I was in the USSR in 1986 and 1988. That was all it took for me to know the evils of socialism.

Please do -- I want to keep track of how the left finally just admits its goal of eliminating the 1st Amendment. It knows it can kill the BOR, since it was allowed to kill the 9th and 10th Amendments, and of course the Corwin 13th!

A "mole" can take on any number of forms, including being low key. But more specifically, it's someone who is at a site pretending to be (in this case) a political ideology of which they are truly not. What the mole then does is occasionally slip in a little grease that trips up the normal participants. I don't do it anymore, but my method was to say things in an underhanded way that got my point across, yet not in a way they could point their finger and say for certain I was there to undermine their little board.

That sounds way to petty. Frankly, I look at all political forums as ENTER-tainment, not INFO-tainment. But I suppose some people have to pay for their snapples while living in their mom's basement.

Moles are ENTER-tainment. People take themselves too seriously. Some of the most productive people I know have moles at DU. I couldn't do it, I'm entirely too opinionated and vocal about my point of view. It's just lighthearted fun, really.

Yes, I know what you mean. I think it's very important that we separate fact from fiction. But in my case, I prefer my entertainment to be of the female type (specifically, my girlfriend).

Is that a direct quote? I'm assuming he doesn't know what austerity means. Part of me thinks that this guy must be a mole, because some of the language is so over-the-top. Enrapturing? It's almost like he's making fun of them.
