Waiting to see pics of Rebs new puppies....
And planning on enjoying the heatwave of 45 degrees, before it tumbles back down to the low 30s.
Had one of those "Do I send him or keep him home" mornings with my youngest and school. Hate those. I decided to go ahead and send him, and told him I'd bring him a tylenol to school at lunchtime. He's not sick sick (no fever), but he's got a sore throat and cough. Once he gets tylenol in him, he does fine (as long as he's not running). Hope he makes it through the day.
My daughter is helping out with a hip hop workshop at dance tonight (it's for the younger girls)...she was bummed she was too old to take it, so this is the next best thing!
Need to re-do the plans for the basement, and take them down to Regional Building and get the permit...stupid gov't. It would actually be cheaper to skip the permit, and just pay the fines at the end. How stupid is that?

I work half days on Fridays, so I'm outta here at 1100.
Gotta get a money order to send to the seller of the revolver on which I won the gunbroker bid. And I'm gonna look around for material to build a quasi shoe rack for the mud room/laundry room.
Sure would love to latch onto a radial arm saw.......
Belle, our golden retriever puppy, turned 10 months old yesterday. Last week, she had surgery to remove two stubborn dew claws and while the sutures have been removed, she managed to worry at one of the wounds enough that the cone goes back on.
Belle the conehead. Poor pup. (The pic below is NOT Belle, however) :p

I am pinned down today waiting for the repair guy to come (Sometime between 8am and 5pm, eff you very much Sears) and make my washing machine all spinny again.
Paid some bills this morning and am enjoying some slack time. I have to call around today and see if anyone near me has a rifle in stock that I wanna buy.
My lovely wife took a suitcase with her and is checking into a hotel near her business tonight so that she can try to finish a buttload of performance evaluations for her employees this weekend. They can't enter the raises in the database on Monday unless they have the paperwork in hand and because it's a corperation the procedure is mega retarded and needlessly convoluted and complex.
Ahhh... Her majesty Queen Pepper has arized and will need walkies soon.

I'm still sickly, but getting better. I think this slightly sore throat, cough and congestion is just hanging on as long as it can.
I picked up Mario Kart last night for my Wii! :yahoo: I played against some friend's online. I was good though, after 9pm my cough was getting worse so at 10 I took my Nyquil and went to sleepy town.
I'm ready to get home this evening and play some more. :hyper:

Mia my girls had the same thing, when I took them to the doctor on tuesday they both had sinus infections. You may want to go to the doctor just to make sure.

I'm just doing some laundry today, not much to do. Later tonight I am going over to a friends house as are some of my other friends and we are going to sew quilt tops for a program called Project Linus (http://www.projectlinus.org/links.html). There will be alcohol involved so either we wont end up sewing anything or the poor kids will get really crooked quilts.
-
You can come by and play too, BEG.
I don't play games. :p
-
Hmmm. I bet you play "Spank 'n Tickle" a lot.
Just not with us.
The world will never know. :innocent:

How 'bout toys? :-)

Doesn't matter if the quilts are crooked...they will be loved anyway!

I guess I'll have to be the one to nerd it up around here! I am going to read / study this weekend. Of course I'll be getting a little drunky tonight first......then I'll be responsible ;) :cheersmate:
-
"Drunky" is a prerequisite for playing "Spank 'n Tickle".
You can come by Mias house too.
Maybe I will let YOU come to MY house for more grown up versions that don't involve tickling. lol :asssmack: :-)

Okay, all errands are done for the day, except for having to run to JCPenney later for work pants as mine have gotten a tad too BIG, even with a belt. I've lost about 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks according to a friend's DIGITAL scale, having checked this morning. Looks like I'll be going to the doctor sooner than planned. :( I haven't been eating as much as I should (loss of appetite due to varying factors...health and stress mostly).
The campus Quiznos was the location of choice for lunch to try to put some weight back on (a large Black Angus Steak sub and some salt & vinegar chips should help :yum: )
-
YAY ME!
$500 to replace and repair the shot bearing in the washing machine.
If the fricking thing were not less than 3 years old I would take it out and shoot it. Thats 1/3 the cost of the thing new.
*sigh*
On a plus note my hair looks fabulous today! :-)

ACC 15 pounts in 3 weeks is a LOT of weight. Do you have low grade fevers a lot as well as night sweats and feeling like you have the flu all the time?

I've had a couple fevers, but it's been over a week or so since the last one. I have been saddled with a very nasty cold and a sinus infection (along with the discovery of a bacterial infection in the same area when I went to the college clinic last week) for the last several weeks. Up until a week ago, I was dealing with the worst of it...the highest fever I had was about 100.8 (two weeks ago) Couldn't breathe through my nose, and was having panic attacks constantly. The stress of all that made me forget to eat on some days, often times while I was working. :(
Right now, I weight 110 pounds. That's just under what I used to weight back in March (115). I gained about 10 pounds over the following months. I'm 5'3'' and am trying to avoid going any lower than that.
-
Pretending to work around all my employees so they don't slack off around here.
Then the three get their hair cut tonight.
Then I get to go out and play with a friend for the night.
Yay!
Tomorrow will be pre-vacation preparation though.
Church on Sunday because I'm a good girl I am!

I asked because 15 pounds is so much for a girl your size. I was thinking along the lines of an autoimmune disorder. Some of the general symptoms are Dizziness, Fatigue, General ill-feeling, Low-grade fever and weight loss. The symptoms come and go. One day you can feel fine and the next day you feel like you have been run over by a truck.

I'm ready to get off work so I can play Mario Kart. That's pretty nerdy too.

My teachers have all miraculously not given any homework for this weekend. I'm not sure how the stars aligned so perfectly, but I thanked God it did. :-)

Lucky! I have a little to do, nothing major. I've decided I'm done doing work. Watching Jaws instead. lol ;)

Sigh, I have to be here until like 5. This working business is seriously cutting into my Mariocrack time.

I just got the shock of my week here...
Apparantly we purchased an extended service and warrenty plan from Sears and the whole thing WOULD have been $630 with parts and labor...
100% covered by the plan. :cheerleader: :II: :yahoo: :cheerleader2:

I have an appointment with my doctor on Monday (I tried calling him a little while ago, to see if he could see me today... he's not in the office, so I guess I get to wait :(). I pray that its just stress, or even related to the recurring living nightmare that reappeared AGAIN recently (instead of an entirely new problem on top of all the other crap I'm dealing with).

LMAO same thing happened to me. I thought I had just gotten the extended service plan on the washer so when my dryer died the first time I was really nervous until I called Sears and they told me I had it on the dryer and not the washer. My piece of paper from Sears said it was the washer but I didn't correct them. After the third time it died I added the washer and our refrigerator.

Just ask him to do a SED rate for the heck of it. It measures inflammation in your body.

Well, I just got finished with my employment app, downloading an internet fax program (no fax machine, but I have a scanner/copier/printer), faxed my request for all of my DD214s, faxed my employment app and now have a little time to screw around. I sure hope I get this job or possibly another position in Temple Texas.
-
Woot...just got scheduled for a day of subbing...first one here in WV. It's not til next month, though. Hope after that it picks up some!
