The Vice Principal I work with was not going to announce the inauguration

during morning announcements Tuesday. After several recent months of, at times, tense back and forth between us about the presidential campaigns I came to work Tuesday certain that he was planning to ignore the inauguration. So I went to his office shortly before the kids arrived and said, "So you are planning on mentioning the inauguration this morning, right?" "No!" he said indignantly.

I quickly convinced him that this was not right. Several teachers refused to turn on their T.V.s as the hour approached, cheating their students out of viewing history in the making.

The VP has had to agree lately that the country is in bad shape right now. He even said at the end of our discussion Tuesday that if Obama turns things around he may even have to vote for him in 2012. I asked if I could get that in writing.

I thought maybe there would be lots of conversion bouncies now, but they seem to have lost all their creativity.

I suspect Skins's island is in some sort of major evolutionary process at the moment.

I'm not sure what it's evolving to, but there seems to be a lot of subterranean convulsions and a lot of confusion, including the rather, uh, limp, bouncies and stretchies.

Skins's island is shaking under the feet of the primitives, and the primitives--and decent and civilized people--have no idea what to make of it.

All one can do is sit back, watch, and wait.

See, here's the difference between me and a DUmmy. If Obama does happen to turn things around, and does not create a socialist country, or push through gun bans, or raise taxes, I would seriously consider voting to re-elect him. No DUmmy would even consider the same for a President who was a Republican.

Of course, this discussion is moot, because Obama is not going to turn things around, and he WILL raise taxes, ban guns, and have us all carrying little red books around.

Hey, there are things that would get me to vote for Obama in 2012, I just think the chances of them actually happening are roughly equal to my chances of hitting the Lotto jackpot for three successive weeks.

only 3?

Hey if Lord Obama gives me the winning numbers for Texas Lotto, Mega Millions and Powerball... I might give him a vote in 2012 but I would still campaign against him. lol.
