Jenna & Barbara Bush Give Advice to Sasha & Malia
Before anyone wants to jump on them for this I think this is sweet.

In keeping with tradition, President Bush left President Barack Obama a note in the White House – and now his daughters have offered their own advice, in the form of an open letter, to Sasha, 7, and Malia Obama, 10.
From that point of view, the women offer the new first daughters tips what to expect as they prepare for their new lives in Washington, D.C. Here is some of their advice:
• "Surround yourself with loyal friends. They'll protect and calm you and join in on some of the fun, and appreciate the history."
• "Slide down the banister of the solarium, go to T-ball games, have swimming parties, and play Sardines on the White House lawn. Have fun and enjoy your childhood in such a magical place to live and play."
• "Go to anything and everything you possibly can: the Kennedy Center for theater, State Dinners, Christmas parties (the White House staff party is our favorite!), museum openings, arrival ceremonies, and walks around the monuments. Just go. Four years goes by so fast, so absorb it all, enjoy it all!"
"Here is our most important piece of advice," they write. "Remember who your dad really is."

8. You may be expecting way too much for it not to get jumped on here at DU where anything and everything that has to do with Republicans, especially anything Bush, is held up to ridicule. That is one of the worst qualities of DU, the inability to see anything good in anyone who does not agree with them and to question their motives on everything. There are far too many people here who behave that way.

Sorry, I'm not impressed with the Bush twins. Remember they were invited to leave Brazil which is the swingingest country on the planet because they were so badly behaved. They should take advice from Malia and Sasha about behavior.

I was going to post something along these lines, but apparently a primitive has beaten me to it. Funny how the DUmmies will defend, with every fiber of their being, the right of one of their resident DUmpmonkeys to blow lines of coke off a tranny hooker's ass, yet will get all indignant because the Bush girls had the audacity to consume a margarita prior to their 21st birthday.

Won't happen. They're like 10 and 7. Even if Obama does 2 terms, they'll only be 18 and 15. At that age, Obama can tell the SS detail to not let anyone near them with dope, alcohol, or a penis (which is precisely what I'd do). GBW was at the disadvantage of having daughters that were adults.

I think that was a very sweet and touching letter. You don't get to pick your parents and you certainly don't get to pick their careers. I wish nothing but the best for the two Obama daughters. I only hope that as young women, they rise above partisanship and become productive members of society like the Bush twins.
