It's weird but I feel CLEAN

Advertisements [?]Edited on Sun Jan-18-09 05:01 PM by cheryl27

the concert was "cleansing"; a rebirth, if you will.

A day of hope and joy....to be able to stand with pride when the
songs of our nation were sung.

I was in DC in 01 and 05 to protest...to stand up against
the tyranny. I felt proud of myself for standing up but
it didn't release any frustration or anger that I felt for
what was being done to our country.

After today it is all gone and I feel clean once again.

Hint: Apply at least once daily with several gallons of water.  You can feel clean EVERY DAY!!!!   :-)

I know this person is experiencing some kind of cleansing rebirth here but for some reason I keep getting this picture in my head of Columbia and Magenta saying "tell us about it Janet!" and Janet singing:

            Toucha toucha toucha touch me
            I want to be dirty
Thrill me, chill me, fulfill me
            Creature of the night

While an adoring audience chants "eat me, beat me, mistreat me" towards the stage where Dr. Frankenfurter's Manchurian creation is taking the oath of office in his gold Speedos. Maybe I'm just in some kind of Time Warp. I wonder...would it be sacrilege to watch Rocky Horror instead of the inauguration. Either way I could pretty much experience getting ****ed by someone else's creation, a malleable everyman with no history beyond every liberal's wet dream. At least with Rocky Horror I can put on my Magenta costume and dance during the songs and throw stuff at the screen. I'm pretty sure one of the clues in next week's NY Times crossword puzzle (the only thing worthwhile in the extremely old gray lady) will be a six letter word for Messiah starting with 'O'. Gawd, I'm living in a world of mixed metaphors.

The next week or so is going to be a mixture of messiah worship and Bush hate like we've never seen before.  Won't be long until people will start complaining about all the Bush hate threads along the lines of "He's out.  Let's not even talk about him anymore."  It won't work because anger and hating is why they wake up in the morning in order to do the rest of the day, but until they get past the "hate Bush" threads, the worship B. Hussein threads are going to become repeats.

Maybe if they dried off by using a blow torch? :fuelfire:

Sounds like fun. It would be more entertaining then the Big Zeros inauguration.
