Why doesn't Bill Clinton get credit for keeping us safe after the failed attack on the WTC?
Edited on Thu Jan-15-09 09:27 PM by jenmito
Maybe he should've just TAKEN credit by constantly mentioning it-how they tried to kill thousands of Americans and failed! If he had, maybe Bush wouldn't have looked so great for keeping us safe AFTER the biggest attack on our soil happened on HIS watch!
HE starts the clock on 9/12/01 as if he didn't get advice from Clinton to take al Qaeda seriously (as the biggest threat to us) and as if he didn't ignore the Aug. 6th PDB titled, "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Within U.S."
But you know if we get hit on OBAMA'S watch, he'll get all the blame, of course.
Words fail me.

3. That's right. He stopped a REAL attempted attack-not a phony one. n/t
How many other attacks happened on Clinton's watch that you conveniently neglect to mention.

12. No, Clinton didn't do that.
A border patrol officer at the Port Angeles WA ferry dock did that. :)
Secure the ports of entry to the US. Seems a lot easier than starting useless wars on the other side of the planet, doesn't it?
Sometimes they slip up and have a good idea.

So Clinton should take credit for the ineptitude of not-to-bright terrorist because their bomb, which did explode, didn't bring down the building? What did Clinton do? Sabotage the bomb's design?

Bill Clinton got the credit he deserved. ABC ran a movie about it, and the Democrats in the United States Congress threatened ABC with revoking their broadcast license for airing it.

Actually, a few people DID die during that atttack, and many more were injured. I would not call it a "failed attack," though it did not kill as many as designed.

An attack is an attack, regardless of success or failure imo.
Try telling that to the DUmmie I was quoting.

He'll get credit for allowing al-Qaeda to infiltrate the USA in order to plan and stage an attack on our country. So, he kept us (including the terrorists) safe which gave them time to plot out their strategy. Given that's the truth, I can live with that.
See DUmmies, reaching a compromise with us isn't that hard. :-)

It is hard to comprehend such stupidity.
After the first WTC attack the Clinton administration put up the Gorelick wall, now what part of idiocy don`t DUmmies understand about that?
-
Bill Clintons credit score on keeping the US would be so low that if he applied for a subprime loan, they'd give him a sympathy card and 2 books of foodstamps......but no loan.

Uh oh. Sounds like someone doesn't like/trust brown skinned people. The level of racism over there is unbelievable! :whatever:
I think this DUmmie needs to go to some sensitivity training. :-)

Yeah, it constantly blows me away, how racist the primitives are.
Like the babbling sister primitive, the Babylon Sister primitive, who thinks "darky" and "pickaninny" and "Sambo" toys are "cute."
There's a lot of that going on over there.

Well, DUmmie jenmito, I imagine it was because there were a succession of increasingly devastating attacks on US interests overseas for the remainder of his term, with obviously-ineffective responses, including an embarassing international perception of our impotence brought about by his increasingly-transparent fear of putting US ground troops into action anywhere. Of course, there is also the unstated (but well-known in professional circles) fact that the the planning and movement of pieces into position for 9-11 began during Clinton's Presidency, a rock I am sure Blow-Job Bill would not like to flip, if he wants to preserve his "Legacy."

Because it wasn't a failed attack for one thing.
Islamic terrorists successfuly smuggled a car bomb into the parking garage of the WTC and detonated it.
Nothing about the attack was "foiled".
Lessons were learned from that attack in '93 and applied to the next attack 8 years later...namely that you can't bring those buildings down from the bottom up so you have to take them out from the top down.

What f*cking planet are these idiots from??? Every time I think they can't lower the bar, they surprise me.
