Why does Bin Laden prefer audio-tapes over video-tapes?

Once again, we are told that Bin Laden has come up with a new audio-tape.
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090114/ap_on_re_mi_ea/ml_a...

Why is it that every since late 2001, Osama Bin Laden suddenly switched to audio-tapes and stopped video-recording his messages to America and the world. Voice software is capable of faking human voice, but this would be very difficult to do to a video.

On at least one occassion, scientists determined that an audio-tape allegedly by Bin Laden had been faked, that is, it wasn't Bin Laden's voice, with 95% certainty: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2526309.stm

But at the same time, this is what US intelligence agencies said about the same tape (from the BBC link above):

US intelligence officials have said they believe the recording - broadcast on the Arabic al-Jazeera television channel earlier this month - was almost certainly that of Osama Bin Laden.

Can he not afford a video recorder? What's up with that?

Several attempts to be comical comments by the primitives. But this thread is more to set up a question for my fellow CCers.

Several primitives have been saying that OBL is either dead or his tapes were released by Bush to send "fear, fear, fear" to the US population.  When the OBL tapes continue to show up after Il Duce becomes prez, what excuses will the primitives give?  Will they become angry at Il Duce for continuing to use the "obviously false propaganda" to keep the GWoT funded and on-going?

It's a shame that typing on a PC doesn't show shaking hands and sweat smeared ink.

The DUmmies are the ones most afraid of muslims.

Well thank you Captain Obvious.  :lmao:

Next you're going to tell us if there's white, fluffy frozen stuff on the ground, it's been snowing.

Two reasons.

Audio tapes don't give away location.

And they don't give away how good or bad his physical appearence is after 7 years of living on the run.

Catherine Herridge of FNC was saying yesterday that the voice on the tape is weak and thin, as if the owner of the voice is getting near his "final reward."

OK, I'm going with...

- They'll suddenly be quiet about it or, for the most part, ignore that the new tape exists.
- They'll claim it's the BFEE putting out the tapes, but very little, if any, mention of the Il Duce administration's reaction.
- Il Duce is complicit but they won't go so far as to say he's guilty of any crime.

Yet faked video of two airliners crashing into the WTC is not as difficult as dubbing a voice  :thatsright:

**** they're dumber than poo flinging florida primates in Tampa :mental:

That's what they'll do
