You might know me better under another name, but we met at Disney in 2005, if that gives a you a hint...and we hung out at various other boards, too!

Welcome to the Cave!  I've missed you!

OH MY!!!!

Okay how cool is this??   I feel like I have stepped into an old home with a new face and name.  Well, kinda.  lol

Hi, I'm Tess...(all these bloody smilies and you don't have a simple one that waves?)

I am married to my husband (because otherwise he wouldn't be my husband) G...

We own our own fulfillment and shipping business as well as two sign companies and one printing company.  We lived in The Kansas City, Mo area and we have four children.  Two of my four are autistic.  My 16 year old has severe autism and my 15 year old has High FUnctioning or Asperger's.  The two younger that I lovingly refer to as frik and frak are atypical developing although I do have to say I don't think there is anything typical about them.  They are 9 (almost 10) and 7.  We are a conservative family (doi).  I was particularly disheartened this past November and did feel utterly alone since I haven't been posting in any real community for almost two years now.  I'd love to reconnect with those that I have known and I would love to get to know more who have like-minded ideology as well!

Emphasis should never be misconstrued as duplication.

Well, nice to meet you, Tess.

You are more than welcome to fight with BEG and Schady for my attention.

After the snub at CU? I think not.   :hammer:

Certainly not I.

In the picture thread where you rattled off everyone who was hotter than me. I cried.   :whatever:

NO ONE in that thread was hotter than you, dearest.
I just thought it went without saying.

You're ******* right. Actually, i wouldn't limit it to that thread. No one in North America is hotter than Schade. She is the total package.

Oh, btw, welcome Tess. You're pretty hot too.

It seems to happen on Friday or Saturday nights, and I'm thinking that alcohol may be involved.
I'm seldom here on those nights, as I'm usually out playing guitar in some bar.

Well, damn...that is usually when I am out at some bar watching someone play a guitar.  Hmmm...

I am pretty good at being kitschy without alcohol even.

Poor MIA, what's wrong with you?   :(

On Monday I was just tired and then Tuesday apparently somehow in the evening I scratched the cornea on my left eye, and it hurt like a bitch.  My eye started weeping and oozing and was bright red.  I thought it could have been allergies, so I took some benadryl (but now a couple of days later, I think I just scratched my eye).

I had an exam yesterday morning, so I had to go to school and I went to work but left early.  I went home and watched like three episodes of Top Chef and took benadryl and knocked myself out.  Today I feel better, but you know, still just tired.

Plus, I hate wearing my glasses, well not hate, but I'd rather not and it'll be a couple more days before I'll put my contacts back in.

What does the eye doctor give you when you scratch your cornea?

Oh, I didn't go to the eye doctor.  I just knew it was either allergies or a scratch.  If it wasn't getting better by this morning, I was going to go to the doctor, and they just prescribe an antibiotic eye drop.  But, it feels much better today anyways.

Oh gads!  That must have been hell!  You should hear the lovely sound my knees make when I'm doing squats, step ups on the bench, walking up stairs, walking down stairs....etc. etc. etc.

I was seven.  It sucked.  I was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and it has mostly affected my legs.  My left leg ended up growing deformed because of it, and I had surgery to correct a mis-shapen ankle.  The knee still points inward at a 45° angle.

Well Tess, I would hate for your welcome thread to die after only 10 pages.

So I will pose a question to you we have asked of the other ladies....

On a man, do you prefer his "curly" hairs (below the waist, above the knees), to be:

1. Wild and loose
2. Neatly trimmed
3. Missing

For the record, BEG has refused to answer this question.

You get a H5 just for keeping me alive!   :lmao:

As for the question...Hmmm....

I think it would depend on the "act" being performed.   :o
