Title: Baseball Team to Turn Brooklyn Into 'Baracklyn'
Post by: TheSarge on January 12, 2009, 02:07:29 PM
OFFS!  :thatsright:

Quote
For one night only, the Brooklyn Cyclones minor league baseball team will honor our next president by playing as the "Baracklyn Cyclones."

When the team faces the Hudson Valley Renegades on June 23, Cyclones fans will be treated to a slew of Obama-themed gimmicks and giveaways. The team will play in special red, white and blue "Baracklyn" jerseys. The first 2,500 fans will each get an Obama bobblehead doll. And ticket prices will be reduced as part of a Cyclones economic stimulus package.

The Cyclones, a farm team for the storied New York Mets, already play in Obama-friendly territory; the borough of Brooklyn voted for Obama over Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) by a five-to-one margin.

This shiitte is getting out of hand. The school here is going half a day Thursday, off Friday and Monday, will excuse those missing Tuesday if they're in Washington, will tape all the mess in Washington so they can show it to all students at school later Tuesday.

Oh but this is different...Just think what Gobbles could have done if he had had TV.

Would it be bad of me to follow the bible's admonition to "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's"  - and return his coins and plates to him at about 900 - 1200 fps?

Just honor the reason he was elected -- his only qualification continues to be his skin color.

Rename yourselves the Baracklyn SteppNFetchers if you are honest, guys.

isn't that a regular tactic of dictators?  putting themselves on the money?  if he filed suit for taking his likeness and using it without permission, this shit would stop.  he condones it, so that won't happen.  just more cult of personality

the new fuhrer is a public figure -- he lost control of his likeness when he announced his run for the Presidency (maybe even when he first ran for public office).
