Inaugural Dinner 2005: Coca Cola brined turkey with dunkin' donuts stuffing
Think I'm kidding? Here are the recipes.
Coca-Cola brined Pilgrim's turkey with Dunkin Donuts old-fashioned cake doughnut sweet and savory stuffing
Coca-Cola brine
1 1/4 cups salt
1 quart Coca-Cola
2 bay leaves
1 medium onion, peeled and halved
2 cloves
1 10- to 12-pound Pilgrim's Pride Whole Butter Basted Turkey
1. Place salt and Coca-Cola in a large deep pot and whisk until salt crystals dissolve. Whisk in 4 quarts cold water. Pin bay leaves to onion halves with cloves and add them to brine. Let mixture cool to room temperature.
2. Add Pilgrim's Pride turkey, placing a large heavy pot or sealed zip-top bag filled with cold water on top to keep bird submerged in Coca-Cola. Place pot in refrigerator and marinate overnight.
Dunkin Donuts old-fashioned cake doughnut sweet and savory stuffing
6 cups Dunkin Donuts old-fashioned cake doughnuts, chopped
2 cups diced onion
1/2 cup butter
2 cups cranberries
2 teaspoons dried rosemary
1/2 tablespoon dried sage
1 cup chicken broth
Cook onion in butter or margarine over low heat until soft. Add doughnuts, cranberries, rosemary and sage, chicken broth, salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently but thoroughly.
They come from this site, which explains that it was all about using food stuffs from big puke donors. And puke is the operative word here.

3. Disgusting.......
Even something as traditional and beautiful as an Inaugural Dinner, when you have access to the best food historians, all the superior ingredients, an army of people to prepare and serve, a worthless thug, lacking style, grace, a respect for and knowledge of history, and anything resembling good taste puts forth something like this and doesn't have the good sense to be embarrassed by it. I just read it here and I'm embarrassed for my country.
How on earth have we survived this waste of life?
after which a photograph of George Bush posted by the tambourine Bambi primitive, who's not exactly young

5. That was to honor the corporate sponsors
I am not kidding.
I dunno. I think the 0bamaite cali primitive was just looking around for something to Hate, and at random found this.

As traditional and beautiful as an inaugural dinner? I had never even realized there was an actual event for it until these guys decided to get pissed off about it. :whatever:
I can't find a source I'd trust that covers what they had for dinner that day, but here's the luncheon.
First Course
Scalloped Crab and Lobster
Second Course
Roasted Missouri Quail
Chestnuts
Brined Root Vegetables
Third Course
Steamed Lemon Pudding
Apple Wild Cherry Compote

I've found unbiased web-sites that go into extremely extensive details about the 2005 inauguration, and none of them mention the Inaugural dinner. It seems that there where many differant balls held, and they attended one of them at least.

I would hate to spend a life where I had to search every day for something to be offended and enraged by.
Pathetic.

Actually those recipes sounded incredibly delicious! Cali either needs to take a whole bottle of midol or recharge her BOB batteries. Dang is she freaking cranky.

Um.... Bush's inauguration was in 2001. They don't have inaugurations when a President is elected for a second term. This is a hoax, and the DUmmies are DUmbasses.
