Am I right to be upset about this?

So the highest level human resources manager at the store I work for has spent most of her time since she was hired about a year ago finding ways to reduce peoples wages, fighting managers like me when we try to give deserved merit pay increases to associates, and regularly sending off lists of names to corporate of associates that are now working few enough hours to have their health benefits cut. Of course, SHE personally makes sure their hours are cut just enough so they lose health insurance.

So today I was casually talking to her while I was doing some work in the office and she says to me "I really hope my taxes go down this year it's so hard for me." (she makes over 50K a year) "It's too bad mccain didn't get elected I really liked him. Did you vote for him?"

So I say to her "No I didn't. I guess you did?" to which she responds "Oh no I can't. I'm not a citizen I'm just here on a work visa"

WHAT THE F***??? I already viewed her with disgust, but now it is up to a whole new level. I had no idea she was here on a work visa.

So she comes here on a work visa making 50K a year, spends her days keeping wages down and cutting hours so US citizens barely making it on 7.50/hour lose their health benefits, and then she wants to complain about paying taxes on her 50K income?

I mean I normally don't care too much about rather or not a person has citizenship, but knowing this witch came here on a visa and spends her days screwing US citizens not even making enough to survive pisses me off. What pisses me off even more is that this is a mutli-billion dollar retailer, and they didn't even hire a US citizen to do the dirty work. I'm sure they would say they couldn't find anyone "qualified".

I am literally disgusted.

How many times have we read at the DUmp about someone being a RACIST because they didn't like foreigners working jobs Americans should be doing?

Lets get this all straight.

She is in an upper level management position on a work Visa which sounds a bit hard to believe but I suppose possible.

The op says they are a manager but has no clue as to the background of this person?
Wouldn`t that all be pretty well known water cooler talk when they were hired the year before?

The whole thing sounds like a stretchy to me.

Not only that but here we have someone from another country who would've voted for McCain had they been able to!

I think (if this isn't a stretchy) the only reason for the faux outrage is because the evil manager in question would've voted for McCain.

The twigs primitive is fun to read; all these interesting stretchies about the discount retail business.

The twigs primitive is a floor manager or something, for I believe Target.

Typical liberal mindset-If an illegal immigrant takes or endangers your job, they are entitled to full rights and are welcomed here...but if it's the liberals job...  :bird: 'em.

I think there is a possibility of someone being here on a work visa and being in upper management.  If a company is bought out by a foreign owned company, they sometimes will bring in some of their managers from other countries.

I wonder if moonbat manager has considered the possibility that said HR person is doing what she's doing in an effort to help more employees to KEEP their jobs. All companies are having to cut back, retail sales are down so tough decisions have to be made. Do they cut employee hours and benefits but keep everyone employed and earning an income where they are at least able to put food on the table and pay their bills? OR do we continue to give raises and benefits when the company can ill afford it, driving said business into the ground, and sending employees into unemployment where they'll be getting about half what their earning now, an extremely difficult job market and no health care (which one is even less able to afford since one's income has now been cut in half).
