The police have just left my house - Someone sent an e-mail
Advertisements [?]offering to sell me meth, crack cocaine or heroin and so forth. Know I am leaving myself wide open for flaming BUT am wondering if anyone else has rec'd such an offer.
Last year it was kiddie porn. I have an open e-mail so am ripe for all kinds of scams, etc.
Am sure the neighbors are wondering, "What the hell did that old lady do now?"

1. I got two of them today
Edited on Mon Dec-29-08 06:29 PM by Richard D
I think that they are a variation on the Nigerian scams.

8. No, I called them and I did not open the e-mail. One of them took
the e-mail address which was posted, then he told me to delete the post, which I did.

..... your property.
Dont know why, but if random emails can trigger a raid theres no stopping the police from being the creators of those emails.

7. Stuff like that's pretty common
They're generally not actually selling the stuff, but trying to get people in trouble for being associated with it. If you get spam from Fred offering to sell you kiddy porn or cruise missiles or distilled Republicanism or whatever, it's usually not actually Fred; it's Bob, who wants to get Fred in trouble so he has less competition.

9. Best Advice
speak to an attorney, don't publish what happened on the internet.

I avoid this sort of trouble by having a spam filter and deleting any that gets through.

I don't buy it. If the cops went to the house of anyone who received unwanted email suggesting criminal activity, we would need 100 million cops and that would be all they do.
I suspect the primitive answered the email in the affirmative and that is what piqued the interest of the local constabulary.

That's just to police everybody receiving the e-mails from the Nigerian Minister of Finance.

They got interested because she called them. Maybe she's just lonely and wanted some attention.. any attention she can get.

Why do these things seem to only happen to DUmmies?
I have spam folders that I don`t look at so maybe I get them too but it doesn`t seem to be a problem.
Anyone here have anything similar?
Guessing that it is generated from the sites they visit maybe?

Hey -- you can NOT horn in on my millions of $$$ from Barrister Reginald, no matter how much you kiss up to me!

I guess your spam folder warrants a visit from the PO-lice.

Maybe you are living in a different reality to the DUmmies. ;)

YOUR MILLIONS!!!
Barrister Reginald told me those were my millions. All I had to do was pay the $225,000 fund transfer fees for him to move the money into my account. I only had another $75,000 to go. :thatsright:

Diden't start with "so"....................................FAIL.

Hey, I sent $100,000 and he told me it was all but done, except for some small fees to secure the transfer. My car is on eBay to pay for those little fees.
If you play your cards right, I will hire you as my personal valet.

I'd be more inclined to believe the DUmmie or part of their creche sent that email , and got the "To" part incorrect.
-
I get the scams all the time. Most of them are caught in my spam folder, but when not and I open it by mistake, I can put a "block" on the sender.
I did call the local FBI office a few months ago....as I received one from the "FBI"....the very nice agent told me it too was a scam, and told me where to send forward the email. Which I did.
No one came to visit me... :bawl:
Methinks her "story" is based on imagination...... ::)

Maybe she's looking for a hot stud in a uniform.... :uhsure:
with my luck, the ones who would come to my house would be the ones whose guts are hanging so far over their belt buckles their side holsters are almost to their knees.
(we have some bigggggg bubbas down here on the local police departments....there's no way they could ever run after a criminal.....they'd have a heart attack... :o)

:rotf: :lmao: :rotf:
The police are mailing people child pornography to gain illegal access to their homes. :thatsright:
-
With all the bouncies from these DUmmies, how do they manage to continue on coddling each other's BS stories :mental:
It must be some sort of contest amongst each other, trying to outdo each other with these bullshit stories.

Yes, the police have nothing better to do than to set up entrapment cases which would be laughed out of court before the cuff marks on your wrists have healed.
But then again, if you're into that, you deserve far worse, DUmmies.

My money is on "Unit B25, please respond to 125 Main Street. Old Lady Jensen is at it again and needs attention."

That's what I thought, too.
The primitive's an old lady, probably lives alone, wanted some attention.
Just like those on taxpayer-paid medical care go to emergency rooms of hospitals, rather than to clinics, which ends up costing a lot more, and they get a lot of attention.
The primitive just wanted some attention, this time from cops.
Nothing more than that.

No....I'm quite happy with what I have at home.... :naughty:
