CHICAGO, Illinois (CNN) -- One of Chicago's most well-known real estate moguls appears to have shot himself to death, police said.
Steven Good was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot Monday, police said.
The body of Steven L. Good was found in his Jaguar on Monday. The car was spotted in a parking lot of a wildlife preserve in Kane County, Illinois, just outside Chicago, authorities said.
No note was found, and police say they do not know how long the 52-year-old had been in the vehicle.
Good was the chairman and chief executive officer of Sheldon Good & Co., a major U.S. real estate auction company.
The death comes amid great turmoil in the country's real estate industry. In his role as chairman of the Realtors Commercial Alliance Committee, Good commented on tough conditions last month at a business conference.

Mr. Good, who lived in north suburban Highland Park, had previously worked for the U.S. Senate, the U.S. Department of Justice and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office, according to a biography on Chicago-based Sheldon Good & Co.’s Web site. He had a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a law degree from DePaul University, according to the site.
A call to Sheldon Good & Co. was not returned.
Steven Good was a prominent figure on the Chicago real estate scene, serving as president of the Chicago Assn. of Realtors earlier this decade. Like other real estate auctioneers, he relied heavily on newspaper advertising to promote the business his father, Sheldon Good, started in 1965.

Given that his company doesn't seem to have been in financial difficulties, the timing is interesting.

The Chicago police are as corrupt as their Mayor and Governor, so you can pretty well count on their investigation being so superficial and incurious that a 10-year-old will find holes in it, result being that this will figure in internet CT for years to come.

It's entirely possible the O mans body count will make Bubba's appear like a walk in the park ( Not sure if I entended the pun or not)
