Title: sparkling husband primitive not feeling the love

Oh my.

Does anybody suspect--I have no opinion on the matter--that the sparkling husband primitive takes pharmaceuticals for mood-alterment and other ailments?

It's just that when reading this, one gets the "image" of the sparkling husband primitive sitting on the commode, his head flopped back on the tank behind, his eyes rolled up so that only the whites show, and he's moaning, his mouth wide open and tongue rotating around, spittle dripping from the edges of his mouth.

Don't blame me for such an image; the sparkling husband primitive painted it, not me.

I just ain't feelin' the love ........

.... in the waning days of busholini ......

.... these mother****ers are going to walk. And laugh.

.... the treasury is an empty vault. The hinges are sprung, and the lock's guts are hanging out.

.... the bus headed into town has a new crew in charge and a shiny paint job, but the tires are retreads.

.... as old fires are just starting to lower to a smolder, they set new ones. A mushroom cloud would not surprise me.

.... the social safety net has holes throughout.

.... our compact with those asked to serve has been a joke. The VA is falling apart from underfunding and homeless vets are simply ignored.

.... most of the children have been left behind.

.... the rich get richer and the corporate giants amass more power. They're now almost untouchable.

.... these mother****ers are going to walk. And laugh.

.... and NO ONE who actually can seems in any hurry to stop them.

.... nope ...... I'm not feelin' the love.

8. They'll walk if we want them to.

You can sit and bitch and moan, or you can stay in the battle for the long run.

Okay, you get a bye. In order to emo the words.

12. Sorry if my post offended you.

I was just saying what I thought was the best I could offer. That's all.

16. Ya know ........

.... I try to be hopeful. I really do. But watching the crap of **just the last week** is hard. They have mere days left and it is unrelenting.

Then this Blago crap. And the ineffectual Fitzgerald.

Richardson's bagging it today got to me.

Poppy on Faux extolling that even-worse-then-the-first-two son of his, J.E.B., as a great man and a good choice for president. And the firm knowledge that it is actually possible.

I'm not happy with Kaine as DNC chair.

Its hard to be hopeful when it is so unrelenting.

What financial shit will hit the news tomorrow? How many companies will go out of business or offshore and strand even more of us?

Its hard .....

Ms. Ed, the unappellated eohippus:

19. I'm right there with you and it is sickening to watch people make excuses.

Apparently 0bama's making up excuses to not make abortion the established state religion?

That's the only thing I can think of, that would upset Ms. Ed.

26. Oh gag me. Obama equals a retread of Bush? In what planet?

Seriously, is Obama pro-torture? Is he utterly incompetent and has to have his VP run things for him? Does he ruin every good thing he comes in contact with? Did his Daddy set his life course for him? Really, Obama's life history is nothing like Bushes so why will he be anything like him? All president's have their good and bad sides but none are truly retreads if each other.

27. Who said the retread was of bush?

How about ....... oh ....... back before bush ...... who was that ...... ?

But you knew that already. You just didn't like what was said. So you built a strawman.

Tough shit.

Hmmmm.  Maybe the sparkling husband primitive's just drunk, and not overdosed.

31. He is not a retread of Clinton either. No two presidents are alike.

All presidents are different in their own way. Some have good qualities, some have bad. Obama is nothing like Clinton in terms of not dealing with situations, asking everyone an opinion and then finally coming to a solution. Clinton was a procrastinator and Obama is more into quickly getting a concise opinion and that to me means more how they will govern that in any appointments made. Politically, Obama has cast votes that are very liberal. Really, can we see what happens in the first year before we decide to kill ourselves out of depression or is that too hard?

37. I guess it must be all those fresh new faces he's appointed .......

...... I can see how you think as you do that it isn't a lot of retreads ...... like today ..... Panetta at CIA ..... fresh and new .......

28. I think I will kill myself right now

Why is that on DU the threads that seem to win the popularity contest with the cool kids always seem to be those written by aspiring Russian novelist types?

Oy.

Libs thrive on being victims.  Even if the sparkling husband primitive were to get all he wanted, he would still claim it's not gone far enough.  They're  :mental:

I certainly would not discount the possibility.  If it's not that, then he appears to have a pathological level of mood- or emotion-control issues.

I doubt he is staying within strictly therapeutic bounds with them, but then I'm a suspicious sort.

But, probably on the right course.
