It's hard to not have a good week when it is only four days.
I am watching ECU and KY. what are y'all up to?
-
Just ate dinner. Now admiring all the crap I bought at IKEA today. :-)

well? what did you buy, dear?

Lots of stuff for the kitchen, a couple of cute lamps, a pot for the big plant on my balcony. At Walmart and Big Lots, I picked up a couple of new patio chairs and a hummingbird feeder. My balcony actually looks inviting now. I might actually sit out there occasionally now! :-)
-
I was just watching my brother-in-law, the Ole Miss alumni/fan, as he was being harassed by his 1 year old son (my nephew) with a tiny LSU football. He just received a hit to the knee with it. :p Charlie has excellent aim. Spiral could use a little work though. :lmao:
Yes, I rooted for Ole Miss, btw. :cheersmate:
Since I'm still in recovery from New Year's, no alcohol tonight. I'm enjoying a nice glass of sparkling white grape juice.

I hope you aren't driving. :-)
and ole miss looked GREAT today. I never really subscribed to the thinking that mississippi fans of different teams should hate each other. my dad graduated from miss state, and he is the biggest southern miss fan imaginable now.

Actually, where my apartment is situated, the sun never hits the whole thing. So it's almost 24/7 in the shade. So even in the summer, it's not horrible. It could always be worse.

exactly. you could live in the south, where we can swim standing up in august. :-)

nope. Not until 7 or 8 am tomorrow morning. I just have a lovely pounding headache with a family member running to the store for some Advil for me. I drank 4 23-ounce Sam Adams and 2 Blue Moons on New Years Eve (starting around 6 pm and ending about 2 am). I tried to spread them out and ate a couple of appetizers, but that wasn't enough, apparently. :( ) Plus I had a few more last night. :uhsure:
I'm still surprised by the results of the FCS game for Div 1-AA. Richmond?! Who?! I guess being a Southern Conference fan, I'm not used to seeing App. State not there like they've been the past 3 years.

6 or 7 beers (giving credit for the largeness)? where I come from, you would be a very popular date*. :-)
*and don't read anything into that!

:rotf: Yeah, I know.

Took the kiddies to a museum today and we grabbed dinner at The Machine Shed. Unwinding from the family fun in the ManCave with some coffee and smokes.
-
shit. ECU had this game, but KY is looking good right now.
-
Friday night, and I'm doing laundry. Woo. Hoo. :p
This is the middle of the workweek for me, so no great loss. Be back in a few.

Ahh, you poor thing. :-* :-* :-*
I got home from work and took a nap. I did get the headlights on my car fixed today.

there is NO WAY that both of your headlights (pardon the pun) went out at the same time.

I think the headlights were just asking for special attention.

I think that what they told you was crap. and furthermore, yo . . .
oh wait. :-)
-
shit. ECU had this game, but KY is looking good right now.
Yeah, I was pulling for UK, which should be obvious, but I picked ECU. Those are points I won't get in Ralph's pool.
-
I want to get this jacket.... for my Agent 99 look. What do you think?

Can you ask them to put a few more buttons on it?
I like it.

PM me your phone number. I lost my phone a month ago. oh, and if trixie calls you, play innocent. :-)

I think adding new bulbs just perked them up.

did you try rubbing them?

Cute.
-
Had some personal stuff that sucked this week but hope to have gotten past it.
Like hitting yourself with a hammer.....sure feels good when you stop as the saying goes.
Gin and beer are helping me celebrate stopping. :cheersmate:
-

I like it.
How many buttons do you want on it? :p
I think it is styling.
-
did you try rubbing them?
They could use a good buffing to make them sparkle.

OK, just for the record, this is exactly the sort of thread that I would have to delete before Snap or SLW woke up.
jus' sayin'
heh, it's GOOD to be in charge. :-)

I am watching Utah kick the bejesus out of Alabama after spending all my bar money for a while on New Year's Eve.

:uhsure: :innocent:
SLW likes us, but snap is another story. I lost a friend with the CU/CC divorce, but I am good with that.

Yep...they have scored 10 unanswered.

I can't help it if I'm having headlight troubles.
-
I am from Southern Miss, obviously. but I always pull for the SEC team
-
I can't help it if I'm having headlight troubles.
your fuse was busted . . . . trust me . . . .
-
I can't help it if I'm having headlight troubles.
If you think you've got troubles now, wait until they start building them in Tennessee. :hyper:
-
your fuse was busted . . . . trust me . . . .
But they didn't replace the fuse, only the headlights. I can read the RO and look up the warranty side and see what parts they used.

Yeah, well my car was assembled in Mexico.
Wait, how did we go from my headlights to actually talking about my car?
-
Yeah, well my car was assembled in Mexico.
I think Chattanooga might be a step up from Mexico City.
I always feel weird driving though that city. It's like some Tilted Funhouse where everything's at weird angles. You're driving down the road mnding your own business and there's a clearing at the bottom of the mountain with a little town stuck in the middle.
-

because headlight are part of your car? perhaps we were just focused for a moment.

I'm excited to see what they come up with to build out there.

oh, and you can't make a double entandre out of that? :whatever:

I clearly am not on top of my game tonight.
-
While I was in Chattanooga, one of the locals and I got to talking about that new VW plant. I asked if they knew what would be built there...they didn't know. :( Then the conversation quickly changed to the new dark green Dodge Challenger parked nearby. :naughty:

we can't all sparkle on demand, baby.

The families, my bf and I walked everywhere we went while there. We were at the DaysInn downtown, near some of the main roads. It was nice that Broad Street goes to everything. But it was ****ing cold out there (wind gusts), even when the sun was out. Down jackets were a necessity. :(
I like the way that city is built, to be honest. I love Savannah's historic appearance, but I also love Chattanooga's "weird angles." :p

the fact remains, ACC, that transplant auto manufacturers rule over domestics.

It's going to be a vehicle specific to the US market, and they haven't released any concept photos of it.

no, I am saying, specifically, that you aren't all sparkly and stuff tonight.

They do, except for Toyota. No offense, but their cars suck right now. My mom's Highlander is back in the shop, as is my stepsister's 2009 Corolla (4 times this car has been in the frickin' shop). Both are due to DEFECTS! I'm glad I never bought that 2004 Highlander.

Thank God for Mazda. With Ford's decreasing involvement, the company is actually IMPROVING.
your car sucked. over all, the cars rock. I have a mirano.

hum. :therock:
would that be your distant, "don't care" attitude?

Possibly. LOL
Now, I've eaten my dinner and have a vodka tonic for dessert. :-)

Which car? My old one certainly sucked (thanks to the Ford transmission :hammer:) but not the new one. The new one (see avatar) is mechanically-sound with a Japanese transmission, and has my private mechanic's approval (he's not affiliated with any dealership, so no bias ).

of course not. it just gets more fuzzy.

Just wring out your liver and start over.

Laundry is done. I'm in the process of burning a pizza.
I hate that I have to go to work tomorrow. Being sober at 11pm is no fun.
-
Just wring out your liver and start over.
LOL! H5

I did
five four miles today. I feel good (and I think I'm starting to lose weight. At least it looks that way). I just can't seem to bring myself to start lifting weights again. I got all out of breath huffing a sack of laundry three buildings over. :(
At least my calves stopped hurting. The tendons are another issue.
edit: eye kant kount.

Excellent. There are advantages to fuzziness after all!

Hey, I can see my feet again! It's a damn pity it takes so long. I didn't get back until 7pm.

The liver is evil and must be punished !
