Hello all!

My name is Nancy and I am a 25 y/o conservative from L.A. Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I feel like I am the only young conservative in L.A. so just want to meet some likeminded people on these boards.

I'm a 24 y/o conservative in Savannah,GA, a heavily Democratic area, so I can relate to feeling alone.

I am also a Conservative in L.A. but am preparing to vote with my feet.  Between the illegal end-run the legislature is trying to pull and the added taxes villareconquista is planning, we will end up paying 10.5% sales tax and hundreds of dollars in vehicle registration "fees."

I thought vehicle registration "fees" were already a hallmark of Commiefornia living (as they are in many states). Is the price going up?

Damn.  And the people here pitched a fit when ours went up to $90.  Still sucks either way... we have the worst of two worlds.  A Democrat with a surplus who spent all the money on public welfare programs and is now facing a budget deficit after coming up short this year.
