the Nutcracker, 2008 is now history, thank the Lord!

They did great, and I couldn't be more proud of my little girl!  She ended up with horrible blisters on her feet, but you couldn't tell when she was on stage.  Such a trooper!    We had a couple crew members and  cast members come down with a stomach bug during the show Sat night, and carried into different people on Sun, but the show went on!

then a quick change, to be ready to dance Snow (about 120 seconds to change from NUtcracker to Snow costume)...she's in the back here:

"not her boyfriend" and his parents came to watch yesterday, and he brought her a bouquet bigger than the one her daddy got her.  :o    Then "not her boyfriend" came over to our house and hung out for the evening.

Now we get to take a break until Spring performances!  Woot!

WOW what a beauty and so talented too!!!

I am really impressed, Flame. My city used to "share" the Cincinnati Ballet Company and I was on the Board of Directors of it here, for seven years. I know the amount of time she has to spend to be able to do these roles... playing the Nutcracker is a real coup!!  :bow: :bow: :bow:

Awwwwww, beautiful pics!!! It reminds me of my ballet days, I was one of the Lolipop Kids from The Wizard of Oz. I can't wait to get into ballet with my little girl.

You might think I'm just saying this because you are her mother.... but she is definitely a stand out. That's not knocking the other dancers, but it is just recognition that she posesses star like beauty and grace.
