How much would apples cost if everyone in the country loved apples but there were only 10 growers?
This is what you liberal idiots are going to see with a national ****ing healthcare system. An unlimited demand coupled with a limited supply. It's happening all over the ****ing world with socialized medicine but like the good idiots you morons are, you don't learn from history. In England they're having to prioritize and categorize people because they're running out of money and lack the medical staff to handle the cases. People are having to wait months for needed healthcare. ...but hey, we won't let little things such as facts or history get in the way of your ****ing delusions. ::)
Here's how it's going to work:
Once socialized healthcare is passed, an unlimited demand will be formed. Doctors and other medical staff will be inundated. They'll try to compensate by increasing costs they will charge to the government. Government steps in and says, nope, you can't do that. Why? Well hell, the government can only pay so much. So, many won't be seen. What will the government have to do? Get more doctors and medical staff. However, these people aren't going to work for free. Doctors go to 4 years of pre-med, 4 years of medical school, and an internship and residency that can last more than 4 years. You think they want to sacrifice their time to make 80K a year? Dream on. So, the government will have to pay them what they're actually worth. ...and yes, it could be upwards of a million a year for certain specialists. However, the government isn't going to be able to pay that without increasing taxes. What happens when they try to increase taxes? Well hell, even Barack understands that taxing businesses send jobs overseas. He even used it in one of his speeches about how he was going to bring jobs BACK to the states. So hmmmm, how will they fix this problem of paying the doctors....hmmm.....Oh, I know, they'll start limiting the people that can actually get certain medical attention. Chances are it'll be the elderly and the people that live unhealthy lifestyles that are ****ed. So....instead of it being between you and your doctor, it's the Damn government deciding what your life is worth. WELCOME TO THE USSR PRE-1988.

Britain's NHS is a grim picture of what universal healthcare will be like here. Long wait queues, sub-standard care, corruption, eugenics (Britain will not treat people who lead unhealty lifestyles). In fact, Hillarycare will be much worse than NHS.

Oh, Y'all are just being silly! Nothing's gonna change. All the dynamics will be exactly almost the same. The only difference is every heath insurance company in the USA will suddenly be out of business. And Hartford, Conn. will be a different city. And your paycheck will increase because your employer will no longer be taking your share of greedy premiums out of your check. And you will never want for health again.
You see, nothing will change under the "single payer" system. Except you will be able to walk into any doctors office, any dental office, any eyecare office and be treated ON DEMAND for free. All the doctors and labs and facilities will simply bill the government whatever it costs and the government will send them a check right back. I know you can't see how now, but really, doctors and labs and hospitals and labs will make even more money because they will never be stiffed again. The government will send them a check for whatever amount is billed. It's a perfect plan.
One of the side benefits of this perfect plan is all the charity money it will free up. No need for charity organization in the business of health care. Danny Thomas, if he was still alive, could take his St. Jude and stick him up his ass. We won't need him and his "children's hospital" charity.
And that's just the start of all the many many marvelous changes that will take place when almost nothing changes.

I hear doctors get their training in Canada for free...then, come to the US to actually get paid for their services...but I hear Canada is offering more incentives for doctors to remain in Canada....paying them more..and taxing their citizens up the butthole... :whatever:

This is starting to happen in Miami....Try going to Hialeah and finding ANYONE who speaks english....Statistically, Spanish is the main language in Miami, followed by english...
