OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! "Emanuel: I'm Getting Death Threats Over Blagojevich Scandal"

Remember one of the reasons he was hesitant about taking the job in the first place was that he didn't want to upset the lives of his family with a move to DC and to take a job that would require so much of his life. This is disgraceful!

(Portion of C&P'd article follows)

"I'm getting regular death threats. You've put my home address on national television. I'm pissed at the networks. You've intruded too much, " Emanuel said, according to the cameraman.

Emanuel has refused to comment as to whether he is the un-named Presidential advisor cited in the FBI affidavit filed in the Blagojevich case. "You're wasting your time," Emanuel told a Chicago Sun-Times reporter yesterday. "I'm not going to say a word to you. I'm going to do this with my children. Don't do that. I'm a father. I have two kids. I'm not going to do it."

Asked, "Can't you do both?" Emanuel replied, "I'm not as capable as you. I'm going to be a father. I'm allowed to be a father," and he pushed the reporter's digital recorder away, according to the Sun Times account.

3. I read that and browsed over to Drudge...of course some BS about Rahm is his top story

No one has even the most basic respect for public figures these days.

4. I love that he has no problems letting people know how he feels!

I suggest they leave him alone!!

5. I think they threatened the wrong person. I understand his response, any parent does, and the magnification of it is exponential when you're on the national stage.

What's with the media and individual addresses? I'm thinking of Robbins and the idiots at the NYC board of elections. These people work for us. They're not allowed to put us at risk (of course, they dot it all the time).

Obama's totally clean, clearly, based on that great sequence of calls and the guv's own salty comments.

Emanuel will get his bearin and then make sure his family is save. Very bad idea to threaten him.

I think that the guv had some kind of strange personality shift and began to think he was a mob guy or something.

He just sounds ridiculous (but fascinating too  in these calls. I mean, Chicago has real people who talk like that but that's who they are. He's not a mob guy, he's just a bit goofy about his power.

Jail will suck for him.

Give the MSM idiots hell Rahm.

Documenting their hypocracy is too easy.  Exact same circumstances:

Republican - What is he trying to hide?  IMPEACH!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!1!1!!!!111ONEELEVENTY!!!!11ONE

As for Emanuel, the guy's losing it.  Apparently he's never heard of Ken Starr or knew about how the MSM would camp outside his house to shove a microphone in his face and try and make him out to be a liar, and the death threats he got.

Com'n Emanuel, quit your whinning.  This is the big leagues.  I thought you knew that.

Amazing how the tune changes about answering to the media when the shoe is tied firmly to the other foot.
