Well, my original plan of enjoying crawling back into bed after the kids left, and taking a nap to the sounds of rainfall were dashed last night by the head of the craft committee asking if I'd help them this morning. I'd feel too guilty to say no, 'cause she covered for me during football games at the ticket job. Suck.
Last night rehearsal was supposed to be over at 9...we walked out the doort at 9:45 and didn't even do about 1/2 of act 2. Tonight is DRESS rehearshal. Wonder what time I'll get home tonight?
But, it's warm today...in the 50's. Just wet, which I don't mind.

Currently 24 and feels like 13. I'm staying inside today and installing a new hard drive and and reinstalling Win XP on my 7 year old Dell. I should have made a slipstream install disk to save time.

I'm not doing nothing today, other than enriching the citrus and vegetable growers.
I might venture out to look for the cats Abbie and Gustav, who've been absent since before the cold, the snow, the ice, and the wind. It's still cold and icy here in the Sandhills of Nebraska, but no new snow, and the wind is gone.

It's cold and windy here today. Going to the doctor today and then back home to work, work, work ~ even though I know I won't feel like it at all.

I have an appointment at 2:00 to get my hair cut and colored. I'm not looking forward to it. She is always late and it takes her forever to do the color part. I would find someone else but she does such a great job otherwise I haven't bothered looking for someone else. I dread going though and all my friends who use her say the same thing.
I'm going to wrap presents today and go to the grocery store. My house is so cold, I hate cheap ass windows. :censored:

Warm, windy, and slight drizzle on the Seacoast. Lost power last night, but the cell phone alarm still worked, thankfully.
Another day of nuclear bliss. Damn, I can't even say that with a straight face anymore.

Had wicked thunder during the night..it was 66 ...neither the cats nor I liked it! We got almost 2" of rain.Sun's now coming out and it's 58....going to start raining again tonight through tomorrow ...another 1-3" expected and turn into ice and snow!!!!
Going to do work, stuff around the house and maybe have a closing late this afternoon, otherwise it's tomorrow.....unless we get more than 10 flakes of snow and it's gets cancelled.... :censored:

It rained HARD overnight... how do I know? I was awake the whole time. :( I'm taking a Trazadone tonight and going to bed early. :bawl:
Just finished one final, and received my literature review from that class... 98!!!!!!!! :hyper:
I have another one at 2 pm, and I'm waiting for lunch to start in the cafeteria. Then, I have two counseling appointments...one with the counselor, and the other with a psychiatrist. Yeah, given my physical health issues, I need all the emotional/mental help I can get. :(

Nothing exciting here....stopping at Target to get a gift for a grab-bag at work on Friday and then heading off to work....Looking forward to the weekend.
The A/C has been running all night as it's starting to warm up again here....

I have to run into the "Big City" for new fish bowl for Finn McCool (His old home developed a hole when my wife dropped it during cleaning last night) and a stop at Barnes and Noble.
My daughter came home sick from school today but she is sleeping it off in bed for the rest of the day. The Mancub woke up hurling the night before last and I think it may just be a touch o' tummy bug.
Got the last of the snow cleared off this morning. He got hit with a fair amount.
My wife is tidying up crap for the last minute trip to England her company sprung on her. She leaves Saturday and gets back next week sometime.
Also I hung our outside X-mas decoration. A tastefully lit wreath on the garage with a green and a red lightbulb in the fixtures out there. I wanted "Understated" this year.

Does she do a good cut? I need a new hair dresser. I haven't gotten my hair cut in over a year, 1 because it hasn't needed it and I'm letting it grow up, but also because my girl quit doing hair. I loved her, she always did it perfectly and I had been going to her for years.
As for me, I was totally running late this morning, but God was clearly on my side. There wasn't any traffic on I-20, and I was flying at 80 to get to school. I had a quiz in my first class today, and I got there like 5 minutes late, but the professor had stepped out of the room to get something, so I arrived just in time for the quiz! *phew*
I found a perfect Christmas present for someone last night online. Today my plan is to figure out this Bakugan crapola and decide what the heck to get my nephews. I'm worried that a trip to Target is in my future, as I need that for the nephews and a toaster for my Grandpa.

I have a "dislocated arytenoid" and he told me today what I need to have done. I have to have some sort of procedure where they stick some sort of scope down my throat to look around. This dislocated arytenoid gets inflamed and causes problems with breathing so for all of these years I have been told I have asthma and gastric reflux when in all honesty I don't think I have either.

After doing some googling, I found that this is sometimes caused by intubation, having something shoved down the throat. I'll leave it for others to make the jokes. :bolt:

WOOT!!
just got back from the book store and I have the latest Repairman Jack novel "By The Sword" and Jim Butcher's "Princeps' Fury" waiting for me to start this weekend! I also picked up book 4 and 5 of the Temeraire series by Naomi Novik.
And as an added bonus they had a copy of the trade book for season 8 of the Buffy The Vampire Slayer graphic novels "Wolves At The Gate" and a new copy of "Wizard" magazine.
The Gods of literary geekdom smile on me!

So that's why the doctor kept giving my husband the thumbs up!

I have had that procedure done several times, they numb your throat so it isn't really all that bad. Update us when you know more.
