Anyone else who won't do business with people who drive foreign cars?
Advertisements [?]
I needed a fence a couple years ago and got three estimates for the job.
Two of the companies who sent their estimate writers were driving Ford and Chevy pick-up trucks.
The third company sent a a lady who was driving a Toyota Tundra.
That made my decision easy. It was down to two companies real fast.
And Tundra lady didn't get the job. I knew her company wasn't getting the job as soon as she pulled into the driveway.
And thats the way it will work from here on out too.
You might want to keep that in mind.

48. I'll bet that you
are the type of person who uses foreign-made grocery carts and returns them to the inside of the store. And I doubt that you put them in a neat and orderly row. And it wouldn't shock me to find out that you feed geese that have illegally entered this country from the south.

53. I ONLY use foreign made shopping carts and I invariably return
them to the inside of the store- even when it's in the middle of a blizzard. I'm also guilty of feeding illegal alien geese and their anchor goslings.
I hate America.

18. Odds are that Chevy truck was made in Mexico
The Ford was made in Canada, and the Tundra was made in the U.S.
Way to support the American worker :eyes:
By the by, why do you oppose freedom of choice? Why do you insist that we have to drive crappy cars in order to support US corporations?
Oh, and where did that food on your table, especially that produce, come from?
Hypocrite.

Why do my mental images of old Hippies and DUmmies usually have them driving Volvo's......old Volvo's..... :-)

The only thing missing is a DU bumper sticker.

Ok two questions:
1) Does the DUmmie NOT realize that the Tundra is made in Texas and Indiana?
2) When did the DUmmies become so Patriotic and Buy America First?

That was pointed out to the DUmmie several times, but it all comes down to the Toyota was not a union made car.

70. I hope he doesn't do business with the US govt.
I work in a govt building...in Virginia, where they have laws that allow hybrids to drive in the HOV lanes...there are a lot of Toyotas in our parking lot.

Wait and see.

That moron is as retarded as they come.

The stupid is strong with this one.
It's simply amazing. A dumb rant typed by someone on a computer that was doubtless made in large part in China and Thailand. Probably sitting on a chair made in China at a desk made in Mexico.
I'd point out that this dummies custom probably isn't worth the effort, even should he pay the bill on time.

Liar liar pants on fire.
I buy foreign because I have had personally terrible experience with American made cars, and I DESPISE UNIONS, and I blame the latter entirely for the former.

Not only that but they are the ones pushing for higher MPG standards and quality. So which is it? Buy American and get less Green or Buy overseas and get more? You DUmp rangers need to make your damn minds up.

I thought NNN0LHI was a Canucklehead......

You're my hero.
Let me tell you about my 1993 Ford Taurus wagon. Never mind, you won't want to read reams of complaints about that piece of shit automobile, BUILT IN CHICAGO, btw.

I tried as hard as anyone could to stick with American cars. Ive been a Chevy guy all my life. Ive owned El Caminos, a Corvette, Chevy LUV and a Blazer. But Im driving a Mercedes now and it is undoubtable the best car I have ever owned. By far. My next car will also be a Mercedes.

My Saturn's been pretty good. 91000 miles. It's the base SL sedan--I bought it for the fuel milage waay back in October of '01. But, when my wife's Plymouth Colt (made in Japan) gave up the ghost, we consulted my brother, who is the comptroller for an auto dealer's network of nine or so franchises, and he said, "If you want it to last, stay away from an American car." We got a 2001 Toyota Corolla.
My next car will likely be a Toyota as well. Maybe a used Tacoma.

After the Big 3 went to Congress to beg for more moeny I have decided that maybe if they get their handout that buying a Mazda or a Mitsubishi would be a far better thing to do rather then give more money to GM.
Either a Mazda 6 with an 18 gallon fuel tank and 21 in the city and 29 Hgwy
(http://www.automedia.com/NewCarBuyersGuide2008/photos/2008/Mazda/Mazda6/Sedan/2008_Mazda_6sedan_ext_1.jpg)
Or a Mitsubishi Lancer GTS/Ralliart
(http://www.tuningnews.net/news/080113k/mitsubishi-lancer-ralliart.jpg)
MPG is the same as the Mazda
If I were to get another GM car I have no idea what it would be.
