Anyone else who won't bring a shopping cart from a store parking lot back into the store?

I see people doing this all the time when I go shopping like they are going to save the world by bringing a cart back into the store or the store is going to give them a discount for doing it. I notice they tend to puff up their chests like they are part owner of the store or something.
They never think about the guy who's job it is to bring the carts back into the store. He needs that job or he wouldn't be doing it. I keep wanting to ask these people how would they like it if someone came to where they work and and did their job for free?
Don
At first I thought this was some sarcasm, but this DUmmie is serious
The DUmmie doesn't understand that there is NO job of cart picker upper, it's just delegated out to some stock clerk to do.
It's a big bonfire and most of the DUmmies thing it's stupid, but still a fun read.

24. In order to ensure their job security, I roll many carts at once to the parking lot & leave them.

It's the least I can do. I puff my chest out when I do that too.
:lmao:

I view it as simple courtesy and respect and if it keeps someone from being out in the heat or brutal cold then how is it bad.
Good Lord the idiotic things one can think of when their entire mind is hellbent on being or creating victimhood.
-
Ummm... Walmart is the only place that I can think of that employs someone for the sole purpose of bringing carts back inside. When I worked at a grocery store as a bagger, it was all of the baggers jobs. We took turns. Whenever the carts got low, we'd just go out and grab them.
People bringing carts back into the store is simple courtesy. Not just for the store employees, but for the other customers who now don't have to worry about having a parking spot taken by a lazy DUmp Monkey who left their cart there.

56. I leave mine in those wide blue collection lanes.
You know, the ones that depict a man sitting in a shopping cart.

This yutz probably throws trash alongside the road and insists he isnt littering, he is keeping some trash-picker-upper gainfully employed. :whatever:

Returning shopping carts to the cart corral or to the store ensures that they don't roll into someone else's vehicle. Repairing damage to your vehicle caused from a shopping cart is not something I wish on people.
These halfwits are quite immature.

Stupid and juvenile actions ar just the norm with the far left.

I take the cart back to the "corral" in the parking lot. General courtesy issue for me.
It's a right pain in the ass when the few remaining parks in the lot have shopping carts in em, and people really frown on you punting the carts around with your bullbar.

Priceless

77. You also understand that "cart-taker-inner" is not a job in and of itself, right?
That duty is delegated to someone responsible for other stuff, too. So if 10% of the people are courteous and bring them in, it won't be putting jobs at risk.

83. Then why don't all the stores have just have one employee at each store?
And just delegate all the duties to that one employee?
Don
Damn it then the store should create such a position. Frickin corporations just taking jobs away just so they can make a profit.
While they're at it they need to create a position for restocking #6 bags and one for #8 bags and a job to be sure all the cashiers have enough dimes and one for nickles and pennies. And these jobs better be union jobs paying a living wage of at least $40/hour and food prices best not go up otherwise I'll boycott!
:lmao:

What does anyone want to bet that the non-primitive DUmp Monkeys haven't ever pulled a job as a Utility Clerk. I remember pulling carts in blazing heat, freezing cold, and driving rain. Then we had the customers that either thought it rude we were in their way or just weren't paying attention and almost ran us over.
I actually preferred that to bagging.

Actually, most of the shopping centers in my town have a dedicated staff to collect the carts from around and about and return them to the racks inside. They're a contractor and work for the center rather than an individual shop inside. It probably pays better than the cashiers inside, because they have to work in the stinking heat and humidity.
-
You can spot DUmmie shoppers a mile away. They're the ones that have one item in the buggy. .......and when they're finished with the buggy, they usually give it the old hev-ho. Down through the parking lot into the side of someones car.

You just can`t work hard enough to become that fukin stupid,it has to come naturally.
-
stupid DUmmies - Ill usually return the cart to the nearest corral as a courtesy, but manners and primitives very rarely cross paths, so I shouldn't be surprised.
-

That's too funny. The Home Depot I shop at never has any carts inside the plant & nursery center so I have to find one in the parking lot. The dummies must be out in full force at this particular store or someone is stealing the carts.

You must live near the dummie bobblehead.

Didn't a bunch of grocery stores out in Kalifornya have a strike in the last couple of years? I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of their demands.
-
I go to a specific grocer sometimes because they have the bagger take your stuff out and load it in the car.
It's kinda nice.
Otherwise you can't swing a dead cat and not hit a cart corral, which makes anyone who DOESN'T put the cart there kinda a douche nozzel.
-

Maybe a frontal lobotomy...
-
Another vote for the cart corral. Then again, if I'm not getting much, I just use the damn baskets, load everything up into my 1 or 2 bags, then CARRY my shit to the car.
I guess that makes me an evil fundie Rethuglican because that guy who WAS pushing the carts from the lot back to the store has no job at all now, thanks to my thoughtless actions.

Maybe a frontal lobotomy...
Preferably done through "traumatic lead poisoning."

I realize that we've seen a lot of dumb posts at the DUmp over the years, but this has to rank as one of the stupidest.

At $40 per hour, free medical plan, matching 401k by employer, retire at 50 with full benefits for life and 4 weeks vacation. Sounds like the unionized Obama plan to me.

This loser won't give up.

Nope, I've been an LPS (weight and balance) dude for the last 21 years.
On a normal day I work 60 flights. Some easy, some not (screw you Quito).
It's the best job I've ever had. :cheersmate:

Load master job. Cool.
Your job is harder than the pilots. If you screw up, he cant take off or land the damn thing. Not too many people realize how important your job is.
You guys on the ground impress the hell out of me.
:cheersmate:
