This is brand-new; no primitives at the bonfire yet.
The sparkling husband primitive must have a portable television in the bathroom in the basement, on the counter across from the commode.

"This is a military action"
The attacks in Mumbai were just called a "military operation" on MSNBC.
Okay ...... guys with guns. Many dead, Hostages. The Indian version of several SWAT teams are on the scene - maybe they're army guys, maybe police.
BUT ......
This is an attack on two hotels in the middle of a major city.
This is a POLICE action ..... to be sure.
This is not good news ...... to be sure.
This needs a big response ..... maybe.
But to call it a "military action" ......... ?
I hate the dishonest media.

Uh-huh.
I'll bet the sparkling husband primitive LOVED the media during the presidential campaigns of 1960, 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, and 2008, when it was lying for his side.

What's his problem? People have been killed, people are injured, people have been taken hostage. It seems that westerners and specifically Brits and Americans were targeted. You think this guy would have a beef with that, but no instead he is offended that the response is called a military action.
He needs to take a hard look at his priorities. The media has been fairly reasonable in the coverage I have seen of it.

OK, the media is too often dishonest or sloppy or unprofessional. The reporting seems pretty reasonable on this story. I don't understand why h2s is so picky about 'police action' or 'military action'. The Korean War was, after all, officially a police action. Its a distinction without a difference.

I'm with you! I have no idea what the hell this idiots problem is. For cryin' out loud, people are dying, and he's worried about semantics!
I will never understand the "logic" of the left!!!!!!! :jerkit:

Coach, what act of the sparkling primitive brought this on? Maybe an admoonishment of eating (too much) turkey, perhaps?
