Nov. 26 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the FBI issued a joint warning to state and local officials yesterday about a possible al-Qaeda plot to attack the New York subway system, a DHS spokeswoman said.
The alert was based on “plausible but uncorroborated information†from late September that al-Qaeda was considering the action, said Laura Keehner, the department’s spokeswoman.
“Neither DHS nor the FBI has any specific information to determine the plot was developed beyond†the planning stage, she said.
As a result of the warning, people can expect to see a bulked-up police presence on public transportation systems during the next few days, Keehner said.
Many Americans are traveling today to family gatherings for tomorrow’s Thanksgiving holiday in the U.S.

I fully expect a terrorist attack on our soil during the Messiah's reign of communism over this nation. His response will be numerous candle light vigils, and stern speeches replete with crocodile tears then....nothing.

You know, I hate to sound crass, but when the Muzzies take out a big blue city this time, I just don't care.
Look what we got from the left for taking action the last time. This time, too freakin' bad.
You know, BadCat, I know you're a nice guy, and you know I'm a nice guy.
We're two of the nicest guys anyone can hope to meet.
I didn't feel this way in the past, and I'm sure you didn't either.
However, given the events of the past seven years, and the existence of the primitives, now I think, yeah, sure; let them take out one of those corrupt blue cities.
I don't care which one.
And when that happens, I'm not compelled or obligated to do a damned thing for any Democrat, liberal, or primitive.

That's why I could never be a professional military man.
A professional military man would look at ALL Americans as worth saving regardless of their attitude about national defense.
This professional civilian says if you're a primitive, go the Hell.
I'm sure that those such as TxRadioGuy, who take their oath seriously, would feel no compunction at all about risking his life to save that of the mike_c primitive, for example.
I'd tell the mike_c primitive to kiss my ass, in such a situation.
And really, I have no doubt that's going to happen, sooner or later, the mike_c primitive bawling and crying and sobbing and slobbering all over TxRadioGuy's shoes, begging and pleading TxRadioGuy to save him.

Al Quaeda will attack with no warning..like they have in every other attack..They will not attack on a major holiday when security is beafed up. This is just another scare tactic.
Now tomorrow, when there are mounds of people at malls for Black Friday, I'd be more keen to believe.
