From The Drudge Report:
http://www.drudgereport.com/flashrur.htm
A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.
He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all." Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare.
The old KGB bastard is forgetting one thing though, the populace is armed.

Obama just may give it back to them, so he won't have to face the Palinator in 2012. :-)

What does Molon Labe mean?
From wikipedia: The Greek phrase MolÅn labe! (Μολὼν λάβε; approximate Classical Greek pronunciation [molɔ̀Ën labé], Modern Greek [moˈlon laˈve]), meaning "Come and take them!", is a classical expression of defiance reported by Plutarch in response to the Persian Army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons. It corresponds roughly to the modern equivalent English phrase "over my dead body". It is an exemplary use of a laconic phrase.

What does Molon Labe mean?
Going back to the Battle of Thermopylae, King Xerxes of Persia demanded King Leonidas and his army throw down his weapons and surrender to the vastly superior Persian force, to which he replied, "Molon Labe!" (as reported by Greek historian Plutarch in the 1st Century AD.
Molon means "having come", and Labe meaning "to take", the literal meaning is construed to mean, "Come take!" but generally agreed to have a modern translation of, "Come and take them!"

"we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all."
This absurd remark wouldn't have anything to do with Mother Russia feeling like a spanked ass over Georgia, would it?
