Bush may move to Dallas after leaving White House

President quoted as calling Leppert 'my new mayor'

Mr. Bush, greeting a handful of mayors Wednesday at the White House, stopped when he saw Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert.

"There's my new mayor," the president was quoted as saying.

Asked Friday what he recalled of Mr. Bush's comments, Mr. Leppert said that he didn't hear the statement verbatim and that Arlington Mayor Robert Cluck was perhaps in better earshot as they stood together with other mayors in the Roosevelt Room...

Mr. Bush may also have stated flat-out: "I'm moving to Dallas," according to Mr. Cluck...

Yet again, another call for the murder of the president, and still no legal action.  If any of us had said something like that during a Dem presidency, it would be all over the left wing nutroots sites and there'd be some consequences.

I was going to say, "F*CK OFF AND DIE YOU PIG F*CKER" but decided that was too much.  Good thing I didn't because then you wouldn't be able to control yourself.    :p

^lol! I like that version better BEG.

The Bushes have lived in Dallas. I am not surprised at all to hear that they may consider having a home there. Crawford will always be their main home I suspect.

I believe his Presidential Library will be located at SMU.  Dallas makes sense...it's about 2 hours drive from Crawford.

That would have been a tad over the top.........but still appropriate.

39. He can say Dallas but it is Highland Park ($$$$$$$$)

-snip-

Dallas county voters also elected a Hispanic lesbian for county sheriff in 2004 (any one care to ask him about "his" county sheriff?)

-snip-

and how is that pesky, ol' "crime rate" doing down there in Dallas County? Still skyrocketing?

The Bush family didn't live in the Town of Highland Park before, and I doubt they will in the future.  Highland Park is too "crowded" and none of the really big estates are ever for sale.

The President lived in Preston Hollow before, which is an area of the City of Dallas.  That's were the Perots live, on Manson Ct.  Most of the estates are on vast land (for being in a big city).  It's possible to live in Preston Hollow and no one will ever find you.

Dallas is full of moonbats, they are just outnumbered at this time.  That Sheehan woman got a warm reception the two or three times she was there.
