Why the **** is this funny?!

after which a photograph of George Bush and John McCain catching 40 zzzzs
Oh, that's right, faggotry! Hey, even better, a nasty Jew has these pictures and that is why he maintains his chairmanship! I mean, after all, we know how sneaky the Jews are.
Homophobia and anti-Semitism, together at last. I wonder who is ****ing whom up the ass (or large nose)?
To get ahead of the story, temporarily, the buzzy one had posted the photograph.

3. It is on a thread here.
I am guessing someone made it themselves.
I would agree, "W" in bed with anyone...yuck!
But, why is it when someone has something bad on someone, so many resort to the "homo" angle? Why is it when a traitorous weasel retains his chairmanship it is because of his nature and not of the magnanimous attitude of the elected body? I may have jumped onto anti-Semitism too quickly, but given the BULLSHIT I have seen posted and STILL posted here, what the hell am I supposed to think?!**
PS...I can send you better pics of men in bed. Of course, not of me and Mr. BTA, because I am apparently too unattractive to even bartend. (long story)
**I am not making an accusation against the the author of the other thread; it is more of an overall action to the past week.
Wow. The gay primitives are still uptight about that Number 8 thing in California?
When do you suppose they'll get over it, and move on?

11. Yea. And what was so ridiculous is the person in the avatar is smaller than me
And since everyone is going to want to know, someone accused me in a thread a few weeks ago of being a dumb weight-lifter because of my usual avatar you see in the large photo. That photo is some how meant to illustrate that I'm a tough guy.
It's former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted. And the reason I chose it is for a clever sentimental reason immediately after I read something about him. He joined the band to replace another member who died when their tour bus crashed in Sweden.
Jason said he never felt completely welcome .. as though he was never part of the "family" because the person he replaced was irreplaceable.
And that's how I've felt most of my life being gay .. that I'm accepted for the most part, but that I'm not really part of the family. I feel different.
So I chose to fly that avatar in quiet solidarity, because I know what it's like not to feel completely welcome. And it will return as my avatar once we straighten out Prop 8. No pun intended.
Now excuse me while I go take my steroids. HA
after which a couple of photographs of some guy in a band
Uh oh. The buzzy one stirs the pot.

14. It's always funny when a raccoon is boinking a beagle in the front yard.
It's funny when inferences are made about sexual involvement between Palin and McCain. Or Bill Clinton and the Bimbo of the Day.
But it's not funny to suggest that Bush and McCain are "in bed together"? Sorry, it's funny. Just because it's same sex doesn't eliminate the humor; in fact, it shows a certain maturing of our humor.
And the cboy4 primitive doesn't like it.

Am I close?
You would never allow your sense of humor to mistake that photo for another bad Republicans = must be gay inference, isn't that right Buzz Clik?

You haven't matured at all.

Yes, please put me back on you little weakling.

And that's ironic with a capital I.
on edit: fix typo. Subtle insults aren't as funny when they're filled with mistakes.

Not that's ironic. With a lower case i for a particularly small person.

It also meant you lost.

35. It's not a matter of "winning" an insult war. My role is pointing out your flaws.
That's a simple task, and it will take just seconds per day.
You now have a new friend. Happy?

26. I can see how might get that impression ...
... if the only sex jokes at DU involved gay sex. Or if just the mention of being gay here at DU was considered to be a joke or an insult.
I dislike -- despise! -- George Bush, but he isn't gay. Neither is McCain, and I dislike him as well. Portraying them in a motel romance merely suggests that, among their other faults, they are cheap and disloyal.
Sorry to disappoint you, but none of my initial reactions to this picture had anything to do with "same sex".

40. You know, sometimes some people just need a reality check.
Not everyone who isn't gay who makes a joke involving homosexuality is a homophobe.

41. Are you gay? No? Then guess what?
You don't get to decide what is homophobic and what isn't.
As another example to illustrate my point, I'm not a woman. Therefore, I don't get to decide what is misogynistic and what isn't. If a woman tells me that my behavior is sexist and inappropriate, I would immediately cease the offensive behavior and make amends. I wouldn't continue to engage in the same behavior after being told by her that it was inappropriate, because that would make me a jerk. And I certainly wouldn't openly brag about doing so.
But I suppose that is the difference between you and I.

42. Ah, the difference between hate-motivated behavior and behavior perceived as hateful.
Sorry, but you cannot tell me that I'm homophobic just because some pouty, hypersensitive drama freak has decided to shit his or her pants over a joke.
Granted, I can't tell this pouty, hypersensitive drama freak that his or her feelings haven't been hurt, but I sure as hell can tell them to get their head out of their ass.
Damn.
The buzzy one's good.
In fact, the buzzy one's dashingly admirable, I must say.

Does this same line of "reasoning" work if one is a conservative Christian? IOW, since they're not, I can dictate to them when something they've said and/or their behavior is innappropriate and they will immediately cease and make amends? Well all know the answer to that question.
Hypocracy, they name is liberalism.

It's very amusing, the way they are always at war, and always will be, over who gets to say what, who's the biggest victim, what words "really" mean, etc. I couldn't live that way, I'd go nuts-oh right, this is the moonbats...

You know, until conservativecave was formed, I had never paid attention to any place on Skins's island excepting "General Discussion," even during all the Democrat primary fights.
I always headed, as I'm sure 99% of the primitives do, to "General Discussion," thinking that was where it was at, that's where the action was, that's where all the cool, hip, trendy, with-it primitives congregated.
Then I discovered the deaf-and-hard-of-hearing forum, which alas used to be more active than it once was (and hence little or no new material), and the automotive forum, where one has to fight killer cobwebs to get in.
But over time, I found many other mini-forums wealthy with material, and the good thing is, there's so many of these mini-forums they can be ploughed for material for at least the next two years.
There's a bad thing to this, though. The deaf-and-hard-of-hearing forum used to be somewhat more active--about as "active" as it could be--but then when I started bringing those bonfires over here, the primitives considerably slowed down on building new bonfires, and commenting upon them.
And alas the same thing seems to be happening with the rural-and-small-town forum, which used to hop a great deal more than it does now.
It seems the more light has shone upon certain forums on Skins's island, the more the primitives scurried back into the dark tangled bush.
I have no idea why that is, but there you have it.
With those forums withering, it just makes sense to move on to others more active, such as where the morose primitives hang out.
