Senate Democratic aide: "The left has been foiled again"
Asked what it would mean if Lieberman kept his chairmanship, one Senate Democratic aide said bluntly: "The left has been foiled again. They can rant and rage but they still do not put the fear into folks to actually change their votes. Their influence would be in question."

1. The Left
Is the reason that most Americans live the lives they do. I hope that dumb idiot is fired.
The reason most Americans live the lives they do?!? :rotf: :mental:
The one's living on the streets and as wards of the state, yeah, you're right. Normal Americans? Not so much.

2. yep - they want our money and our boots on the ground for campaigns, but they don't give a flying **** about us.

3. In the Republican Party, you have to throw the base a bone.
Sarah Palin's nomination was an example of McCain and the RNC throwing the Republican base a bone.
In the Democratic Party, you can throw as many liberals from the base under the bus as possible with no repercussions.
Could you save it for 2 years from now when you bow down to their every whim and they throw you under the bus............. again.

4. I notice this brave senate aide didn't give his or her name
He or she was apparently a bit concerned about reprisals from "the left"
Can you blame them? Does the name Sarah Jane Moore ring a bell?

6. Hey ****wad aide!
Look at what just happened to the wide stance party, and ask yourself if you want to go down in history as the dimwit who cause the same thing to happen to the Dems.
Are you kidding? They got you whackos right where they want you. And you will sit down, shut up, and be happy about it.

9. We need new congressional leaders desperately. If they had told us they were not censuring lieberman in the interest of setting a new tone, an open forum for debate and non-partisanship co-operation, I would have respected them. All I heard Reid say was that joe is a democrat. wtf? if lieberman was going to stay, it should have been in the context of a new relationship. he is not a democrat, and he doesn't just get a pass for no damn reason.
Wanna bet?

Those tools couldn't start a lawnmower let alone a revolution. They might have gotten the Big Zero in but they sure as hell are not going to be anymore happier with him then we are.

That's going to be the most fun to observe - as the primitives try to infer displeasure with The One without actually saying it.

One way to defeat the Left is to give them everything they demand. Unfortunately, it would devastate the country. But it would get rid of them.

Unfortunately, I do think that is what it is going to take before things get any better. :dozer:

And it would bring about "change" not seen since the 1860s . . .
