It is COLD here. 17 degrees right now.
I gots a glorious day of housework, laundry and stuff today.
Getting in some coffee time beforehand. Slept like crud last night. I swear to God I average about 3-4 hours a night when my wife is away. Oddly when I go away on travel I generally sleep okay. She told me that when she is on the road she sleeps as poorly as I do here at home. Weird.
I have often thought of hiring an escort service lady to come here at nights when she is gone to jam an elbow in my ear while trying to push me out of bed with a knee and snoring loudly. Maybe that way I could get some decent sleep. :-)
The cats pissed me off last night too. I got woken up at 4am by the two of them wrestling on my chest. All 20 pounds worth of them. :censored:
I have a pretty nice roast that I'm going to season up and throw in the crockpot with some veggies here this morning to slow cook for dinner tonight. I gotta run into the big city at some point and snag Wall-E and Tropic Thunder which are coming out today.

It's a bright and sunny day in the Sandhills of Nebraska today, but I'm headed back to the sack, with this cold.
The cats are acting like it's spring again. How little do they know.

I have no idea what the temperature is right now but it is sunny.
I get to go to the eye doctor today. I have never been so excited to see a doctor since I was going to my OB to see my babies via Ultra Sound. I hope he says my eye is all better and I can stop the oral prednisone, start to taper the pred forte drops and stop the dilating drops all together.

Howdy, all.
Cold day here, but I'm toasty warm.
Already have dinner in the crockpot (stuffed peppers), have ordered a couple items for Christmas presents, and have satisfied my curiosity about a boy my daughter is interested in.
Gotta admit, he's cute, and he's smart. Don't neccesarily like the arm around her at a birthday party on Sat, but they WERE dancing, so I guess I gotta just admit she's growing up. :hammer: And the good news, is he goes to a different High School, so actual contact is limited, though they do text each other a lot.
Have a billion loads of clothes to fold, and I get to spend my evening sitting at dance waiting for people to want to buy tickets to the Nutcracker.

Sunny 72 degrees here today. Just made a strawberry banana smoothie for breakfast and then heading off to work.
I miss the cold...but not the 17 degrees cold. :uhsure:

I think I'm getting sick. My throat is scratchy and I've had a nasty cough since Saturday morning. I was hoping that the scratchy throat would go away after a day, but it hasn't. I'm drinking some green tea with honey. I should get off work earlier than usual today and go home and Nyquil it up! :(

Was 22 this morning at 7:30...supposed to warm up to 40...but around 10:30 we had snow flurries!!!!!!
Supposed to be colder tonight, more flurries possible. The mountains already have some and are getting more.
(Lug....Gatlinburg was all white yesterday!!!)
Thinking about making stuffed shells for dinner.....I'm in a "comfort food" mode.....and maybe some oatmeal chip bars with raspberry glaze and lemon drizzle.

24 this morning when I woke up at 12:45 am, at work by 2 am, still here for another hour.
Possible snow flurries tonight with high wind and low of 18 (wind chill between 0 to +5). Good thing I've got the prebuy paid for.

Hey, Savannah isn't supposed to be THIS cold! What happened to global warming?! :p 50 degrees, but it feels at least 20 degrees colder than that, with the wind gusts.
They're predicting us going into the 20's tonight. *shivers*
I got my paper turned in. I was up past 2 am trying to finish it. Now, I'm going to relax with a Quiznos sub and enjoy some peace and quiet until I have to go to work.

Low to mid 50's at night and mid 70's during the day. I'm getting some awesome views of the Coastal Range/Sutter Buttes on the drive to work in the morning. The sunrise is turning the mountains pinkish, and with the air so clear they look like they're only 20 miles away, not 75.
Supposed to be in the 60's by wednesday with a small possibility of rain.

I love their Sonoma Turkey Sammies. I'm addicted. For lunch today I'm having two sammies and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. I like their broccoli cheese soup, it's not as good as Jason's Deli's, but Quiznos is a whole lot closer to work.

Woo Hoo, I just got back from my doctor. My eye is totally clear. I can stop the oral prednisone. I am so glad because I have gained 7 lbs as of this morning, I was a tad underweight for my height before I started the prednisone at 118 (I'm 5'7"). What troubles me more than the weight gain is my face feels all bloaty. The doctor said he couldn't tell my face looked swollen but I can tell. I can also feel it.
I also get to stop the dilating drops and reduce the pred forte to every two hours for a week, then every 4 hours for a week then I see him again. If all is well I will continue tapering. I still have to use the ointment in my eye at night which is no problem. I am so happy. :p

had a few errands to run today, nothing pressing just stuff to do. Went out to my car and the battery is stone dead. I have all the tools and ability to charge it up, so I did. I also took the dead battery as a sign to stay home today so I did. Made a couple phone calls,answered a few e-mails that's it. Life is good.

Woke up this morning and thought it was Wednesday. Found out it was Tuesday about ten minutes later. Ruined my whole day. :(
It was pretty cold here... 25* this morning. I don't mind the cold, but the wind is a pain in the ass. Brrr!

I really want to visit Canada just to see one of those goofy people in person. They're always polite, happy, and full of "eh". Most of the other calls I get are miserable, unhappy, grumbling sourpusses. It's a downer.
