I Kicked A Right-Winger's Ass...And I'm Not Sorry.
A few weeks ago, I was headed home after a goodbye party in California. It was then that I was verbally accosted by a man who claimed to be a "McCain Supporter." He uttered some racial epithets, then threatened to "kick my monkey ass all the way back to Africa" because he was tired of "******s like me and Obama."
Needless to say, we came to blows. That gentleman won't be eating solid foods for a while, nor will he be breathing through his nose with any ease.
I am not proud of what I did, but I'm not sorry I did it.
There is an old saying amongst Sicilians that translates roughly into this: If you **** with the bull, you get the horns...
"Anger is an energy" Public Image Limited "Rise"

Negative-40 bongs. Didn't even get off the ground.

Yeah, DUmmy...us r-wingers are so inclined to just walk up to strangers and say these kinds of things.
Either this guy is stupider than the usual DUmmy (quite a feat in itself) or he's a mole.

7. Really, at certain times, "Let's talk about it" is the worst response . . .

As long as the degree of violence is not dis-proportionate to the action that elicited it.
Unless of course the offender is a terrorist, then "Let's talk about it" is always the best response. :whatever:

I've lost count of how many blacks I know who are familiar with old sayings amongst Sicilians. :whatever:

I don't know about anyone else, but I've never simply walked up to someone and announced that I was someone or other's supporter.

Yeah, that sounded kinda weird, didn't it? His ancestors must've come from a small Punic village outside Syracuse the Romans missed 2200-odd years ago. :-)

If you've ever seen the classic Tarantino film "True Romance," the character Clifford Worley delves deeply--and rather negatively--into the Sicilian/Africa connection as he's getting tortured by the mob.
Your post just brought that scene to mind.

Possibly it's the clumsy attempt to quote the alleged jerk.

Now they call each other out on the bouncies?
They're a paranoid bunch to begin with...nothing about this election has convinced me their paranoia will dissipate.
Thos posts you quoted proves that IMHO

Hell, I'm a white guy and the only Sicilian expression I'm familiar with is, "Never bet against a Sicilian when DEATH is on the line!"
