We spent roughly 5 hours in the car today picking up my daughter and we were home here less than half an hour when my Mancub went balistic crying and sobbing.
His fist baby tooth to leave the mothership was dangling around loose, the launch tube was welling blood and he was convinced that he was, in fact, dying. :-)
He's had a grownup tooth thats been sticking out from the gums behind the bottom front ones for a while.
The little bugger has been hanging onto his baby teeth like they were gold.

Is the tooth fairy paying in silver or with cash paper money?
-
What is the going rate for teeth these days? I've heard as much as $5... :o
-
Well in our house the tooth fairy leaves a buck for each tooth.
As my 14 year old explained to the little guy tonight she pays double if the tooth gets lost during the falling out process. (Some idiot dropped it down the sink whilst rinsing it :uhsure:)
I told him that when his baby testicles fall off that the Testicle Fairy will give him 5$ a piece for them though. :-)

awwwwwwwww
and the going rate is two bucks you cheap skate fairy!
mine is hanging on to hers like gold as well, there's one tooth waiting patiently for a parking spot for over a month now... :thatsright:
-
awwww. I think I got $1 per tooth when I was a kid too.
-
Damn inflation... I got a quarter.

Me too.
Yes, I was a spoiled child. :-)

I got paid 50 cents per regular tooth, and $1.00 per molar. My half- brothers, on the other hand, got $1 per regular tooth and $10 for a molar. ::) (our dad's a doctor, that's why he could get away with that. :p )
Hope your mancub is feeling better, asdf. :)

I had to take my daughter to the dentist, have them gas her, and pull out two dangling teeth. She would totally lose her mind if I tried to get her to get them out. She already will have to have braces for probably 23 years so that didn't help at all.

The Toothfairy leaves $1 here. But my youngest isn't getting very rich off her...he hates losing teeth! Polar opposite from my middle kid, who yanked his teeth out on a regular basis.
