So, someone I know very well told me today his CPA is now buying a gun/month as part of a revolution

group he has joined.

I asked my friend, did his CPA mean he thought Obama would restrict gun control to the point of not being able to buy weapons? (you know...that silly FReep meme being spouted as a "truth")

My friend said no. His CPA stated he's committed with a group, and he signed on for six months to buy a hand gun a month (once per month as there is the 30-day waiting period), and that others signed on for more months, with the upshot (pardon my pun) being that after Obama takes office, there is an underground group movement that is planning on a revolution and taking back our nation.

Am Series!!!!1! This is HUGH!!!1!

Meanwhile, once I find out the name of this guy, am thinking I should report it. That CPA said something about taking it to the streets of DC.

Anyone else heard any of this crazy stupid crap?

(My friend is not one of the FReeps, but his CPA thought he was a Repug, so he confided in him.)

Looked at the thread and for the most part every DUmmy took the bait...hook,line and sinker.

A couple did sort of realize that the handgun angle was silly but still believed the overall horse crap.

Two issues here: #1-You don't start a revolution with handguns. #2-Purchasing the maximum number of handguns allowed under the law is not illegal.

Sorry, DUmmie, try again.

There is no Federal law that restricts handguns to one purchase per month as far as I know.  The brady bunch did push for such a law years ago IIRC.

I did try to keep up with that one handgun a month thing...

I couldn't afford it.

70% of my friends are buying for thre reasons:

1. Worried about excessive taxing to curtail the 2nd Amendment.

2. Letting the Obama know that there are a whole lot more weapons out there.

3. More than 50/50 chance there will be massive program to stop gun ownership.

Excessive taxes will be the first step.  Obama is already on record as a state senator of approving a 500% tax on ammunition IIRC.

The liberals are not quite prepared for an all out assault on the second amendment by banning firearm ownership, so they will continue to do what they have tried to do in the past.  They will attempt to use legislation that effectively kills it anyway.  Taxes, bans on certain types of firearms, bans on certain types of ammunition etc.

Yep, that's my thinkin' on the matter. I think they'll try and tax ammo to the point we can't afford it.

So I'm stockpilin' just in case. There's no such thing as too much ammo!!!!! :angryvillagers:

Specially my .380 BAR!  :-)

27. I bought one a month for 32 straight months
All handguns. It just kind of happened. It's so easy with a CCW. No NICS check or anything. Just pay for it and go.

I'm just now starting to sell a few.

DUmmie should wait a few months ..... supply and demand will show its ugly face.  I know that is an Un DUmmie like thought process but it could make a few extra bucks.

36. If they are actually systematically serially purchasing one gun per month like that it DEFINITELY bears looking into by the authorities.

This is a tough call for me, because the idea of looking into someoe's pattern of gun purchases without a warrant is a bit disturbing to me (so I'm betting they could get a warrant - you have enough for probable cause, I think, though I am no laywer or LEO, so you might want to check) except for the criminal conspiratorial nature of the movement is what is being investigated here, and notthe gun purchases themselves are nott he probable cause...they are ancillary.

So, yes, most DEFINITELY the local FBI office should hear of this, IMHO.

Funny how the kooks who have consistently yelled "Police State!!!!" for the past 8 years now want the "police state" to protect them.

I've always maintained that anything the left says the right is doing they would do if able.

So once again another dummie thinks they can start a war with a handgun. If it wasn't so sad it would be funny. That is going to be one short fight when the yrealize the otherside has things like an  Barret M-82 or a .338 Lapua or even a war surplus Mosin-Nagant

Hell, my dad's 80 year old single shot bolt action 22 rifle with a LR hollow point would beat a pistol at the distance's the DUmmies are going to want to fight.
