Worshippers at a Bible-teaching church in Lansing, Mich., were stunned Sunday when members of a pro-homosexual, pro-anarchy organization named Bash Back interrupted their service to fling propaganda and condoms around the sanctuary, drape a profane banner from the balcony and feature two lesbians making out at the pulpit. Looks like the left has been emboldened by the coming of socialism to America.
Here's another clip from the article...
"'Jesus was gay,' they shouted among other profanities and blasphemies as they rushed the stage. Some forced their way through rows of women and kids to try to hang a profane banner from the balcony while others began tossing fliers into the air. Two women made their way to the pulpit and began to kiss," he wrote.
The group responsible, Bash Back, had this to say about the incident...
"Let is be known: So long as bigots kill us in the streets, this pack of wolves will continue to BASH BACK!"
I must have missed the news article about all the killing in the streets of which they speak. And what was the church's response? As per the article...
"The church's response? After things settled down, the blasphemy ended, the lewd props removed and the families safe from fear of additional men and women running into and past them the pastor took the stage and led the congregation in one more prayer ... not for retribution, or divine justice or a celestial comeuppance (that's what I'd have prayed for) but instead that the troubled individuals who'd just defiled the Lord's house, so full of anger and hate, would know Jesus' love in their lives and God's peace that exceeds human understanding," De Leeuw wrote.
Again as per the article here's a little about the church that was attacked...
"Mount Hope, for the record, is an evangelical, Bible believing church whose members provide free 24-hour counseling, prayer lines, catastrophic care for families dealing with medical emergencies, support groups for men, women and children dealing with a wide variety of life's troubles, crisis intervention, marriage ministries, regular, organized volunteer work in and around the city, missions in dozens of countries across the globe, a construction ministry that has built over 100 churches, schools, orphanages and other projects all over the world and an in-depth prison ministry that reaches out, touches and helps the men and women the rest of society fears the most. They also teach respect for all human life and the Biblical sanctity of marriage as an institution between one man and one woman," De Leeuw wrote.

Don't expect to hear about this from the MSM.
-
The parishoners of that church showed more restraint than I would have.
I'd have been more like Peter when the guards came for Jesus.

Between this and the buses with humanistic advertisements, it makes one's heart sink. I think I need a break from the forums for a while. It's really sad what's become of this country. I don't lambast people for making mistakes. EVeryone sins and I'm right up there for needing the Savior. What really is disheartening is the total lack of conscious when mistakes or huge lapses in judgement occur. People have no sense of propriety, civility, or any sort of conscious to care about the things they do that are not right. They don't even have a hint of humility to feel bad. Maybe I'm just getting old. As much as I think the UU church down the street is misguided, I'd never walk in throwing things at their parishioners and interupting their services. Perhaps primitives was an apt title frank came up with as people behave more and more barbaric and base. :(

It never occurs to groups like this that when you behave in such a way you actually set your cause back. It's this kind of behaviour which will guarantee they will never have what they want! :mental:

Two observations:
1. When have christians gone around killing fags in the street
2. What do these fags think of the war vs fundamentalist islam?

They cannot be bothered with facts. They're too busy "raising awareness". :whatever:

2. What do these fags think of the war vs fundamentalist islam?
Islam hates Christianity and America.
The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
-
Gonna start carrying bolt cutters to church with me........cut the chains on bull dyke wallets. .....If you have to put up with kind of trash in church, may as well be profitable.
-
Even Jesus threw the money-changers out of the temple.

What were lesbians doing with condoms?
I'd answer that but we'd end up in the Shortbus! :-)

I skimmed the entire WND article and didn't see this mentioned:
http://globalpolitician.com/25278-religion-church-gay-marriage
While leftists blasphemed the Lord’s name outside, and while the left-wing thugs were busy disrupting the Sunday service, security guards of the church found two homosexuals sodomizing one another in the bathroom. “[ O]nly by the grace of God,†Right Michigan observes, “did one of the hundreds of kids at the church not happen upon that particular restroom in those moments.â€
And homosexuals wonder why Christians oppose them so much.

These people are rushing towards their own self destruction .By advocating an Socialistic government they are allowing the very people who destroyed all of the ,I'll try and be kind to them ,deviates in Europe during the second world war.Further if the Arab's ever come into any legal power in this country they are done for.
All things considered they best keep their fringe loonies under control if they have any hope of surviving .Most thinking people in this country find homo's disgusting critters and for sure want them to stay away from their kids and grand kids. Those who have deviates in their own family's need to be more tolerant and sensitive just to function as an extended family.
The myth of a 'queer' gene is just a smokescreen to cover an obvious choice they have made in their abhorant sex lives.

I checked out jinx's link. The story also has this...
The Right Michigan article notes that some of the condoms thrown at the Christians in church that Sunday morning were used. Calling these leftist sexual deviants “degenerate†is an understatement. Animals do not even act like this.

Horrible. Sad. Appalling. *sigh*

This made me chuckle.

Okay, my LITERAL reaction to that just now: "Aw, ****!!!"
I completely skimmed over that paragraph. I both thank you and hate you for bringing it up. Sorry, man.

Newsbusters has more on the attack on Sunday:
One would think that there was no violence, or any attempt at it. To say the least, eyewitness accounts beg to differ, including this one from RightMichigan, which reads, in part:
On Sunday, November 9, 2008 Michigan liberals sat peacefully through announcements, worship and prayer for the sick, our nation and our President-elect before staging a coordinated, disgusting and repulsive attack on worshipers and the broader concept of the church itself at Lansing's Mount Hope Church.
The lefties were a part of a liberal organization known as Bash Back Lansing and their collection of radical blogs, .... (which) called on "queers and trannies" from across the state and the region to converge on Lansing for what they refer to as an "action." ..... their broader goal is stated plainly on one of their lefty blogs.
"I can tell you that we are targeting a well-known anti-queer, anti-choice radical right wing establishment."
..... Wearing secret-service style ear pieces and microphones they received the "go" from their ringleader and off they went.
The "alternative" paper in Lansing went along for the ride too.
:whatever:

You wouldn't have been the only one. I concealed carry in the pews, and I know I'm not the only one.
I've seen too many whack-jobs decide to take their animosity with Christianity out on complete strangers at whatever church happens across their path around here (remember the Colorado Springs idiot around Christmas time a year or two ago?) for me to do otherwise.

GROSS! What kind of lunatic runs around collecting used rubbers to throw at Christians?........besides a Du'er! :-)

Def6, in some states, it's against the law to carry in a Church. Personally, I'm all for concealed carry EVERYWHERE because the world is whacked. That said, if a person just acts up and causes trouble, that doesn't give another the right to shoot them. Something about imminent fear of great bodily harm or death. It's a very fine line that one walks should they shoot someone that's just busting up physical property and causing mayhem.
I DO think that these faggots, homos, lesbos, etc, should be held accountable for their crimes. I think the last documented episode of a homo being harmed by folks, (not necessarily Christians, but they could claim to be) was Matthew Shepherd. I dunno, I don't really keep up with what happens to homos.

The law here in Colorado is sane - for the moment - in that it leaves the decision of concealed carry in places that aren't government buildings, between the property owner and and CCW holder. That being said - I know this'll probably fall under the heading of "anything I say can and will be used against me in a court of law..." - if that law were to change, given the charged atmosphere we're living in these days, I wouldn't STOP carrying in the pews just because "the lawmakers" said so. Discretion being the better part of whatever, the likllihood is high that nobody would know - or care - that I was carrying until a "bad guy" did something stupid in my presence, and I'm more willing to do time in prison for protecting my family, than I am willing to bury my family knowing that I could have protected them, and didn't because the politician said so.

I know. When I read it my first thoughts was that if I would have been there and that went on someone would get hurt.
-
Hmmm...
Used condoms... AIDS....
Fear of bodily harm. I think a good defense lawyer could make a case.
-

They're probably disappointed that no one did. Even idiots could start figuring out that the violence is NOT coming from the right this time.

Hey Fred Phelps, are you going to protest that radical gay group that attacked the church? Oh wait, you are too busy protesting soldier's funerals and you think that church is a "fag church", "whorehouse" and "dog kennel" that promotes the "gay agenda". :mental:
Just for anyone wonder what I mean, Fred Phelps calls all Christians of all denominations "liars", "fag lovers", and "blasmphemers" that are doomed to Hell like everyone else. He thinks all churches are "whorehouses" and "dog kennels". He attacked James Dobson and Focus on the Family for trying to change homosexuals.

Heh, can we lock 'ol Fred and one of these bull-dykes in a room? Last one standing wins. :fuelfire: :rotf:

Radical gays, Communists, Muslim terrorists, Ronbots, and Westboro Baptist Church, birds of the same feathers.

He probably would actually like it. He lashes out because deep down he is a homosexual and is in denial about it.

H5 for the great points.
I think Fred Phelps is born evil. He is a well rounded and raging psychopath filled with self-hate. He turned on his own father (Fred Wade Phelps), stepmother (Olive Briggs), and younger sister (Martha Capron). His mother (Catherine Phelps) died when he was 5. His father remarried and made Fred Phelps angry at him for re-marrying and saw it as adultery. His father stayed married until he died in 1977. His stepmother died in 1984 and all the inheritance went to his sister in 1984.
Long Read, but has a lot of insights of Phelps.

The shrinks should never have changed the wording to stop call homosexuality a mental disorder.
I understand why they did, they make a lot of money off them, but isn't that the proof of this pudding ?
