I wonder if it has dawned on any of the minority that all those powers of the "unitary executive" that Bush and Cheney cried terror terror to get will belong to that one President Obama on January 20, 2009? He will have a larger majority in Congress than Shrub ever had. He also has a mandate by popular vote, something that Shrub never had.
Wasn't it the DUmmies who swore the GOP would cancel the election?

2. I've thought of that, but I bet Obama will change things back to the
way they are meant to be.

The Democrats have had power for two years, and they have changed what? Bueller.....bueller..... that's right N-O-T-H-I-N-G. No impeachments, no dismantling of Homeland Security, the war in Iraq is still be waged.
So DU freakshows, disappointment awaits you yet once again.

Bush never had the popular vote? Did 2004 not happen?

I am waiting for March 2009, then I will go by the unemployment office lines out the door, stop my car, and loudly ask "how many of you voted for (insert name of the fuhrer)???!"
I won't need an answer.

In 2004, 126 million people voted (http://www.census.gov/prod/2006pubs/p20-556.pdf),62 million of them for Pres. Bush, 59 million for Kerry. (http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/).
In 2008, 65 million voted for Obama, 57 million for McCain (http://www.npr.org/news/specials/election2008/2008-election-map.html#/president?view=race08)
In other words, 1/100 of our country is the total difference between Pres. Bush's votes and Pres.-elect Obama's.

They have helped to make the economy worse.

They have helped to make the economy worse.
Oh sure, but they have accomplished nothing on the DU agenda. It's a mystery.

They have helped to make the economy worse.
Sure, but it took a bit more than two years to do that.

Oh sure they have. Screwing up the economy made their candidate a shoe-in. Look at how many young voters were attracted to voting for Obama, who also are obviously clueless about the Dems sabotaging the economy just so they could blame it all on the man at the top.
That's my theory, anyway :-)

They will be quite surprised when they find that their taxes go up or the wage they receive goes down as obamanomics takes hold.
The bill of goods sold will not be a reality.

This is true but:
Did Bush ever kick off media outlets that did not endorse him?
Did Bush ever stop media outlets from releasing propaganda movies?
Did Bush ever call for banning liberal authors?
Did Bush have his Bush Youth shut down dissenting voices on radio or news?
Did Bush ever have his Bush youth and government employees go after a private citizen?
No, fellow cc'ers Obama will be a hard core authoritarian in the best of hitler, lenin, and stalin.

It was "stolen"................remember?

And I'll keep reminding my co workers that voted for Obama that when their 401k's are nationalized that not to worry, their dear leader is just spreading it around, and to congratulate them on THEIR choice.

ATTN: Dummies!
Barack Obama doesn't care what you think nor are you going to have any power to set any policy. Frankly, Dummies, your pittance of contributions was just a means to an end and nothing more.
It makes me wonder if there is a Barack Obama on the DU. Oh, the evil ideas going through my head right now.

The thought has occurred to me as well. I certainly would not put it past them, and it would take extremely sohisticated transaction analysis to ever uncover it. The one thread that might be followed is in patterns of selling and selling short, as most of the Dems would not have sacrificed their self-interest to go down the drain once the event was triggered, lthough some of the biggest or most high-profile people (like Soros) may have been willing to take short-term hits for the value of becoming long-term insiders.
