Title: What a difference 50 minutes makes...
Post by: jendf on November 09, 2008, 04:00:02 PM
I walked into work at 2 and it was bright and sunny out with a few scattered clouds. No ominous clouds in the distance or anything.

Now it's dark, thundering, and pouring down rain.

Weirdness.

Wow -- that is strange.  Doesn't that usually happen in Summertime?

I think the Hurricane over Cuba is affecting the Gulf wind patterns, which is affecting your weather.

Yeah, it's very monsoon-like, which is odd since those ended in August.

It`s a sign!

Maybe it's a metaphor for Obamalamadingdong's presidency. It's here and gone in a flash with little damage done.

Maybe? Can I hope? Change? Si se puede? Eek!

The VRWC weather control satellite is experiencing technical difficulties.  Please stand by.  We are upgrading the entire network to prepare for the blizzard scheduled for the DC area for the week of  Jan 20.   :innocent:

Yeah, it's very monsoon-like, which is odd since those ended in August.

We had rain in Nevada the past couple of days. Less then 1.5 inches of rain for the entire year!

What people call "monsoon" here, I call a light sprinkle and low humdity...but I am also used to the storms of the Midwest and constant 90% humidity.

Here if the humidity hits 12% they call it high...

I'm just waiting for the snow to hit here in NH.  It's coming, just a matter of time.
