today. What Shuster also said was that 40-60 Iraqis were killed in Mosul last week after an explosion.

Poor George will have a heard time explaining his wonderful surge tonight.
Surging, surging, surging to the grave!!!!

Fugg you George Bush!

<snip>
Last Wednesday the city was rocked by an explosion at a block of flats believed to house a bomb-making factory that left at least 34 people dead and hundreds injured.

A day later, a local police chief and two officers were killed in an ambush as they toured the scene of the blast.

Mr Maliki announced then what he said would be a "decisive" operation, and Iraqi army tanks and helicopters began to arrive in the city along with troop reinforcements on Sunday.

Edit - to correct word to explosion and add link

Actually I do have a comment.......**** YOU MALAISE YOU PIECE OF ****ING TRAITOROUS SHIT

2. Shhh! We're not supposed to talk about that.

It's one thing to fund the war; but do we have to talk about it?

Are you trying to take my hope away?

4. If the Killing in Iraq & Afghanistan aren't on TV the American
public is supposed to have the impression that America is
winning the Wars against the Terrorists. The "Out of sight, out of mind" concept.

If NBC is reporting it, isn't it on the news?  Where's the "bad news" blackout?

No remorse at DU for the civilians killed and maimed by jihadists?

If it had been US troops they'd be demanding the entire US military be banned and DC be occupied by the UN.

Hypocrites.

You're right.  You never hear about the good things the US does across the world, especially in Iraq.  It's so much easier to bitch and complain.  :bird:

In other news, two people including a police officer were killed and a third wounded in an armed robbery of a liquor store in Podunk, Idaho today, bringing declarations from local liberal leaders that the War On Crime has been lost and renewing calls for immediate withdrawal of all law enforcement officers from the region.

"Police have absolutely no business asserting authority in a place where they're obviously not wanted", stated Ima Jerkoff, president of the Idaho Coalition Of Wilting Angst-Ridden Demonstrators (C.O.W.A.R.D.). "Governor Bumblebee's surge in uniformed police has not eliminated violent crime and police officers are killed across this country every day. It's time we gave up on this unwinnable war and sent the cops home. An occasional rape, murder or home invasion is a small price to pay to stop this sensless violence brought about by their presence."

C.O.W.A.R.D. has asserted in the past that the only reason for law enforcement's existence is so that Ford can sell more Crown Victorias and Glock has a steady demand for its "black metal death machines".

"We're confident that once the police are gone, carjackers and other patriotic, freedom-loving criminals will go back to their humble, peaceable ways of life as Amway salesmen and telemarketers", Jerkoff went on to say. "besides, they've hardly been greeted with 'candy and flowers', have they?"

C.O.W.A.R.D. has in the past picketed meetings of the American Medical Association, voicing similar demands to end the War On Cancer, citing the continued incidence of melanoma and Hodgkin's Disease as proof of its folly.

"By the way, don't forget to vote for Ron Paul in November!", Mr. Jerkoff added.
