A man who made threats against President Bush and had a suspicious package was arrested Monday outside the north fence of the White House, the Secret Service said.

The package was later found not to be dangerous, Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan said.

The man, who was "uttering threats against the president," was taken into custody just before 2 p.m. on Pennsylvania Avenue, Donovan said.

This reminds me of the Clinton years.  I was in DC when the guy shot up the White House with a SKS.  I have pics around here somewhere of the bullet holes in the iron fence and pock marks on the side of the the White House.

Then there was that kook that flew his plane into the White House, or tried to.

Then that dude that jumped the fence with a handgun and ran towards the White House.

Laugh... crazy bastards.
