Title: What kind of "change" do you think Rahm Emanuel represents?
Post by: ScubaGuy on November 05, 2008, 04:58:24 PM

Not even 24 hours after he's been elected and they start bitching.

DLC, right-of-center, corporatist, free-trade, pro-NAFTA, nice-making-with-the-repukes Rahm?

Is that change we can believe in?

How?

What will change?

4. The kind of change involved with doing the same thing over and over again

and not learning from past failures.

5. why, changing the deck chairs, of course....

Damned little else. Rahm Emanuel is part of the problem, not part of the solution.

6. The carpet in the Oval Office?

Different corporations will be given our money in exchange for destroying America?

Congresspersons and Senators will wear blue ties more often?

The bottom will fall out of the flag-pin industry?

It'll be funny to see what they're saying when they don't get 'free' healthcare, massive tax relief, gas prices go above $6 and a good loan rate is 17%.

I wonder if the DUmmies will ever come to the realization that Barry is just another politician.

Man, that was fast.

I was thinking it'd happen sometime before mid-December.

I had no idea it'd happen within less than 20 hours.

A ) Barry's friends.
B ) Barry's enemies.
C ) Barry's bitches.

Sounds to me like the DUmmies were/are under some kind of mistaken belief that THEY would help pick Dear Leaders cabinet and staff.

They want him to select people who will send us over the edge. That is what this is all about for them.

I honestly don't know too much about this guy, but I did go to his website where it says that he recently met with T. Boone Pickens, and he is a proponent of Pickens' plan. That right there probably pisses the DUmmies off to no end.

Meanwhile, I am enjoying the fact that they are already not satisfied, which I see is a chronic state of mind for them.

Actually, I see Rahm's selection as a message.  It means Barry means to play by Chicago rules.  That's A-Okay with me.

MUI is at a meeting with other dims, he was listing Conservatives and Republicans who pissed him like Bluto from Animal House: "Gingrich? Dead!  Rove?  Dead!" et. seq.

This is the New Politics?  A capo kneecapper as consigliari?

Doesn't seem like Kumbaya to me.

Emanuel is chief of staff, he doesn't have to get along with anyone but Obama. His job is to keep the white house running and dodge Mrs. Obama. :evillaugh:
